Trullo Saettone - Trullo and Lamia in the Itria Valley, in the nature -

The house is nice with a big private garden. Just few minutes drive from the city center. The overall location is great as it’s quite central and will allow you to reach the following cities in 30/40min driving ; Alberobello, Ostuni, Locorontodo, Polignano A Mare… If you are looking for a place to relax and explore the region that’s a great spot.

We had a great week in Francesco’s beautiful house. It is perfectly located, well stocked and Francesco is a perfect host, who gave us a couple of helpful recommendation. We will be back! Thank you, Francesco!

Thank you for sharing such a unique and lovely property! The Trullo is set apart at the end of a small road - only about a mile or so from Cisternino - ie happy walk back after a lovely long lunch. Set in such lovely surroundings between olive trees, wild flowers and a more established garden, it is the ideal place for a peaceful retreat. We had hired a car so travelled each day throughout southern Italy sampling the delights of the region and would recommend anyone do the same - there is so much to see and enjoy. A lovely week, Francis was most hospitable and we will love to return. Thank you.

We enjoyed the quiet solitude of the property and uniqueness of staying in a Trulli.

My husband and I, spent only one week in the beautiful Trullo of Francesco Antonio. We would have loved to stay there for more weeks. It is a very beautiful place. For those who want to relax and enjoy nature, it is an ideal place. You cannot separate the Trullo and Lamia, beautifully restored with great attention to detail, from the beautiful garden. Fortunately we were in June and could admire the beautiful lavender and the other flowers in the garden. The whole ensemble is a work of art, an oasis where you feel very comfortable from the first moment. Our flight was delayed 3 hours and we arrived late in the evening. Francesco`s daughter was waiting for us at the meeting point and accompanied us to the Trullo. The house was very well prepared. The water and milk were already deposited in the refrigerator waiting for us. Also many other things, like olive oil, coffee ect. were already there. The next evening, when we returned to the Trullo, a bottle of sparkling wine was waiting for us. Thank you Francesco! But this is not the deciding factor why we recommend this place. We fell in love with the beautiful Trullo from the first sight. You can feel in every detail in the house and in every tree and plant in the garden that it was made with love. Many thanks for that! The Trullo is located away from the hustle and bustle of life, but still relatively central. The beautiful town of Cisternino is about 40 minutes walk away. There you will find many restaurants and stores. By car you can reach the beautiful beaches of Lido Morelli in 10-15 min. Otherwise there are a thousand other interesting and fun things to do. The car is of course necessary. It was a very nice time and we enjoyed our stay very much.

The bad news is that this property says it has wi-fi, but it does not. The good news is that, thinking it had wi-fi , we rented it--and we are so glad we did! It is a lovely turro, in a beautiful setting amidst groves of olive trees, with the most gracious and accommodating host you could ask for. We came with another couple, and the space is ideal for two couples. There is wi-fi nearby in many restaurants and cafes in Cisternino, so we managed that aspect. Highly recommended.

More than beautiful and with style decorated trullo (1=trullo, 2+=trulli). Clean, good showers, nice beds and real linen! It’s feels like a hotel, but it is your own house and spacious garden. It is centrally located to visit Puglia. Charming cities and villages and good beaches are near. For us meeting point was the Csette +7 supermarket in Cisternino. Handy to do right away the shopping. The owner gives you a warm welcome. He speaks English. We were happy to sleep in such a historic monument and we are pleased to see this part of Italy. Again a good holiday. Thank you.
