Stayed Dec 31, 1969Anna& Vincenzo and their family represent all the good values one would wish from a guest home experience. They displayed wonderful enthusiasm for their guests, their home and their region. They shared fig jam, olive oil and wine from their farm upon our arrival and we had a fine meal with the family that they prepared. We specifically came to experience the rural culture of Valle d' Itria and this trullo was the perfect place to have as homebase. Our daughter and my mother in law host places on Airbnb, so we're interested in how well others host; we were not disappointed in any way. As a builder, I'm interested in vernacular architecture and we enjoyed staying in an old trullo, the better to see how they were originally constructed and how the rainwater systems worked.
