Tropical Oasis Heated Pool Hot Tub Near Siesta Key

I loved everything about it! You went above and beyond to make the house cozy, clean, beautiful and relaxing. There were plenty of dishes and extra supplies that were very much appreciated.

Warm and welcoming space, with all of the things you think to bring on vacation included. The backyard space is it’s own hangout, perfect for lazy pool days and grilling.

This home and property exceeded all expectations from the exceptional owners and their quick and thorough communication throughout the entire week to the unbelievably beautiful home that we had the privilege of enjoying all week. It was spotless, and every accommodation was made for their guests. Outside of the home was a paradise. The gorgeous pool with all the outside pool toys along with two outdoor TVs was one of the highlights. The owners provided beach chairs and towels, and shampoo and conditioner in all the bathrooms including the outside shower, which, by the way, was phenomenal! We will definitely stay here again. Five stars!!

Absolutely perfect

My wife and I discovered the Funky Fish House last year and what a great find. We have been getting together with our good friends in Sarasota/Siesta Key area for the past four years, and came across the Funky Fish House last year. What a great find! Perfect location, as you can be in downtown Sarasota or be at Siesta Key beach in ~15-20 min. The best part, is after spending a day at the beach, you come back to the beautifully landscaped yard and pool for cocktails, then take a relaxing outdoor shower. The house is fully-equipped and very clean. Any questions/concerns were addressed almost immediately by Cliff and Hannah. Highly recommend the Funky Fish House.

The Funky Fish House had everything we needed for our vacation. Kitchen supplies, extra bath and pool towels, beach umbrella and chairs, pool floaties, and more. Clean property with a great pool! Convenient location as well. Had a wonderful stay!

The Funky Fish House was a great home base for a week close to the Sarasota beaches. The outdoor space is fantastic, with a terrific pool, lots of comfortable and well-maintained seating, and plenty of room to spread out. We appreciated the variety of pool floats, beach chairs, and sand toys too. We traveled with two children, ages 8 and 11. The only way to access the backyard space from the house is through the third bedroom, and there is direct access to the pool. The property photos show this, but for folks who may be visiting with younger children, this could be a safety consideration to keep in mind. The kitchen was well stocked (we appreciated having a few K-Cups ready to go!), there were plenty of towels, and the beds were comfy. The owners and property manager were also very responsive and quick to help with a couple of issues that popped up.Thank you!

The Funky Fish House is a beautiful oasis of a home with wonderful and functional furnishings and amenities inside and out. We loved the attention to detail in terms of decor and “livability” of all areas as we stayed for an entire week with the kids. The backyard was where we spent most of our time with the pool, hot tub, and covered patio areas perfectly situated to enjoy the verdant and lush landscaping day and night. On top of it all the owners were extremely helpful leading up to, during, and after our stay. We can’t wait to come back!

This stay exceeded ALL of my expectations (and they are pretty high, ha!). When you first arrive, you are greeted by a vibrant and welcoming blue front door. Enter and say hello to aesthetic relaxation! The decor is so tastefully done. An eclectic mix of beach items, pops of color, fun artwork, and the most awesome colorful decorative surfboard in the kitchen. Appliances are modern and easy to use. Huge walk-in pantry with a cute blue vintage door. Giant sink overlooking the patio. Wet bar with a separate drink fridge. Top notch. The family room has a comfy couch and FUN coffee table books. There is a plethora of games and kid books in the entryway table near the bathroom. The main bedroom has a comfortable king size bed with a walk-closet and ample storage. There is also a laundry closet with detergent pods and Oxiclean! Every family’s necessity! Both bathrooms have been updated and have plenty of extra items should you forget a hair dryer, q-tips, etc. Now for the outside…OASIS. A true oasis. From the beautiful giant green plants to the shaded verandas on either side of the sun room. We never wanted to leave. The pool is the *perfect* size and shape. One set of stairs but a giant platform to sit or lounge on, perfect for the kids to wade around in. The depth was perfect. Not entirely shallow, but too deep either. And the hot tub was a joy. And the outdoor shower. Woo! Outdoor showers indoor showers. They also had two outdoor tvs, which we used in the evenings. And multiple beach chairs and beach toys that we were able to use for our days at Siesta Key. If you are looking for a thoughtfully designed and comfortable space to relax in (without any tacky beach decor or excessive seashells/flamingos), look no further! Book this place immediately! We are already looking forward to our next stay!
