Enjoy a prime location; walk 7 minutes to Maunalua Bay Beach or drive 8 minutes to Hanauma Bay. A slip for launching a paddleboard is located 40 feet outside your front door.

LIVING AREA

Beach-chic decor is sprinkled throughout the home offering an inviting tropical vibe. Unwind in the living area with two sofas, two chairs, and a plush armchair. Watch favorite shows on the 36” TV or play games on the Wii.

KITCHEN & DINING

Create tasty dishes in the well-equipped kitchen with stainless steel appliances and granite countertops. Helpful kitchen gadgets include a coffee maker, rice cooker, and toaster.

When you’re ready to eat, gather at the dining table with seating for six.

BED & BATH

This home comfortably sleeps six total in three bedrooms. Two full bathrooms are each stocked with a complimentary starter supply of toiletries and bath amenities. All bedrooms have ceiling fans, and the master bedroom also has a window unit AC.

Find quiet privacy in the master bedroom with a king-size bed, private access to the lanai, and en-suite bathroom with a walk-in shower. The master includes a window AC unit.

Both the second and third bedroom feature a queen-size bed, plenty of natural light, and a ceiling fan. The second bathroom provides a walk-in shower.

OUTDOOR AREA

Enjoy the fresh island breezes from your private yard or unwind in the lanai that features a four-person table as well as two comfortable benches.

Fire up the gas grill and dine al fresco in the fenced yard that offers seating for six.

Beach gear including towels, sand toys, and beach chairs are available for guest use. Access to a slip for launching a paddleboard is located across the street.

    I have communicated my concerns with the Vacasa people who are located in Portland Oregon area. Never saw a propertymanager or workers. Master bathroom shower had slippery glazed tile floor and no grip bars in case of slipping. Bathroom had no bathmat so bathtowel had to be used as it was slippery when wet also Electrical outlets in the house were cheap as when you plugged in the connection was loose. Replace with Levitron. Livingroom eastside sliding door had no curtain to shade glare as TV was adjacent to it. minimal ants around the kitchen sink area so we bought ant traps. Hallway bathroom was fine, no complaints. we were told no parking on the street , but we experienced neighbors parking on the street and overnite. No directions other than security dorr and alarm so TV was a challenge since there were 5 controllrsbin the livingroom. Every extended stay house or Condo we have stayed in always had thorough directions AND someone to greet us when we arrived. Finally when wevarrived there were 2 cars in the driveway for over an hour ( neighbor) so we had to park in the supposed off limits street. The house was quiet with quiet neighbors and the Hawaii Kai area if fine for morning walks and nearby shopping ( by auto) We enjoyed our stay , but would probably stay in KoOlina Condos in the future. Only reason we stayed in Hawaii Kai was our grandson was playing in a hoops tourney in Honolulu. They won!! ALOHA!! The Nakamuras' of East Bay Norcal

    We had a great experience everything was clean and well kept. The few issues we did have were taken care of in n a timely manner. Overall, we would stay here again. Perfect spot.

    We very much enjoyed our stay at this house. The accommodations were excellent, and gave us a comfortable place where we could see the sights on the island. The home had everything we needed to cook amazing meals and it really felt like a tropical home in paradise. The property was very private and quiet, perfect place to recharge and re-center. I would 1000% recommend this for a quiet, off the beaten path yet centrally located, place to spend a vacation! The only thing I'd point out is the alarm was armed once we got to the house and we didn't have a code to disarm it. But we gave Vacasa a quick call and within a minute we were able to disarm it and enjoy the house, so if this happens to you, once you open the door if you hear a beep, call Vacasa immediately and they will let you know the code. I'd definitely stay again at this place hopefully for a longer period of time!

    We spent Christmas at Hawaii Kai and it was perfect. It is close to Hanauma Bay and many other great beaches. It provided privacy in a quiet neighborhood but was a short drive to Waikiki and other attractions. Great gathering spaces, beds are so comfortable and it was nice having a kitchen and washer/dryer. Plenty of beach supplies to use. We hope to visit again!!

    Lovely location, fantastic morning and evening views of Koko head. Water just steps away. 5 minutes walk to Mauna Lua beach and canoe club. 5 minutes drive to Safeway, Costco and Niu emergency care facility. Fantastic neighbors. Comfortable house, well laid out with lovely lanai and tropical hedge.

    Overall we enjoyed our stay at the property. We had some minor issues with a leaking refrigerant the issue was addressed. There were some tiny gnats on the sheets in one of the bedrooms and when we wanted to wash the sheets there wasn’t any detergent available. When we called for detergent and garbage bags they were delivered the next day. I was told there was air conditioning in all the rooms before we arrived but found the living/dining room area without one and even there were fans it was quite warm. The property was in a nice and convenient area.

    We stayed here with our daughters, the house was great and was the perfect setting off point for all activities on the South and East side of Oahu.
