Trendy Denver - Fireplace/Game Room

What a fantastic weekend! Great spot for a Denver getaway. My boys and I had a blast, and the space was second to none.

My husband and I, our 2 kids and another family of 4 stayed at this property for 5 nights while visiting Denver. The location is pretty good - really central and only a 10-15 minute drive to anywhere in Denver. There was a fair amount of noise/pedestrian traffic however there were protests going on at the time of our stay that probably contributed. The space is absolutely huge, with comfortable beds, lots of bathrooms and a truly enormous kitchen. A few improvements could be made to make the property perfect - more utensils (I think we had like 4 forks for our group of 8), more plates and bowls. Also, clearing out broken stuff - for instance, the microwave was awful and caused us more problems than was helpful, the steamer/frother on the keurig didn’t work at all, and the dart board had all but 2 broken darts. Also - extra blankets would be awesome to have! Along with some patio furniture for the deck and more available parking space in the garage (there was a lot of extra furniture stored there).

Really enjoyed the property. Great location. Owner was extremely helpful and responsive.

Not having outdoor furniture took away from what otherwise was a pretty good stay.

We loved Denver and had great sightseeing - overall, a good time was has by all. The house was a wonderful place to rest each night.

Beautiful home. Nice area close to parks and some shopping easy to catch rideshares. I would suggest having the garbage cans closer to the house for easier disposal.

We were just in for the national western show and it was a perfect place for us.

Location was great - near a grocery store, other food stores and highway, quiet neighborhood. had issues with the heat/AC and TV's and someone was there to talk to and came over to fix the issues. A suggestion would be to have instructions on use of the things in the house. The large kitchen was well equipped, the house was clean with enough utensils and cleaning items. Would suggest grip bars in the bathrooms and as suggested, higher WiFi connection to supply all the TVs and other electronic gear. When the family returns to Denver, this would be the place I would choose. The spacious house was a great place to entertain or just hang out!

Reviewer Comments: I spent too much time on this vacation wondering how things work (half of my first full day there) and I was a shocked by the problems. There are gaping holes in the dirty white couch, the ceiling fan in the living room doesn’t work, there wasn't a single instruction on how to use things or where things were in the house. I ran all of the glasses in the cupboard through the dishwasher because they were filmy, greasy, and gross. Lucky guess locking the front door. Nest took a long time to figure out. Ryan was very responsive - the only bright spot in an otherwise poorly managed property. VCR sent me a plethora of emails reminding me to leave, and not a single instruction on how to work the TV. Light bulbs are burned out. There was a Catholic priest in our group, and we insisted he take the master bedroom where he suggested we not peer at the offensive art work in the bathroom. We didn’t. The handles on the toilets on the main level and the second level don’t work properly and actually made our hands hurt trying to flush. The carpets need a deep clean. I paid more than $2400 for four nights, and it was so below par, that I can’t find a decent thing to say about it except dreadful.

Reviewer Comments: This home offered everything we could have hoped for: modern and updated with a great kitchen and bathrooms/showers; nice balcony; and fun basement family room with foosball, dart board, basketball toss, and large flat screen TV. Just a block from a shopping center with a Safeway, liquor store, and Subway. Easy walking distance, 15-20 minutes, the cool bars, breweries and restaurants in the Five Points, Uptown, and RINO neighborhoods; about a mile to Coors Field. Safe and mostly residential neighborhood; like most of Denver and other U.S. cities, you will encounter some unhoused people, but we didn’t experience anything that made us feel unsafe. VRC was attentive and communicated promptly and effectively on check in instructions and other needed information. Highly recommend this property as the place to launch your next Mile High adventure.

But the thing I loved the most is the picture above the master bathroom toilet. I have the exact picture in our main bathroom. Location was GREAT and the neighbor was quiet. Would def stay here again.
