The house itself is cozy and accommodating for a getaway. It was stocked well above average for basic needs and then some. The decor and finshes were very nice. Its such a bonus to have a hot tub, which was set and ready for our stay. We could not get the air to work, but didn’t bother asking because we knew in the evening it would get a little cooler, althoughwe were hot duringthe day. The house definitely had a fly issue. They appeared Everywhere! Even when we killed one it was as if 5 more appeared. We stopped counting how many we killed after 100. But it was kinda gross hearing them buzzing constantly and landing on us. And its definitely important to note that trains go by pretty much constantly - day and night. So if you aren't used to that it can be disturbing to sleep.

Super clean, organized, cozy and fun. Teens utilized the air hockey, darts, and hot tub. Beautiful backdrop of the woods, great for relaxation. Also easy drive to Notre Dame.

You won't find a nicer place at this price point! The house is absolutely goregous and it was immaculate. You will get your workout in with the stairs, but the view is 100% worth it. If your GPS is like ours and takes you to the T and stops, turn right. Had everything we needed for a weekend trip. Thanks for the great stay!

Treehouse Acres is a beautiful. We enjoyed the secluded property, surrounded by trees, the pond, and lovely outdoor entertaining spaces very much. The upper deck is lovely to sit and enjoy a morning cup of coffee or evening bowl of ice cream. The lower covered outdoor seating area was perfect for hosting friends and chatting, even when the skies opened up and rain poured down all around us. Inside, the master bed was very comfortable and gave us a wonderful night’s sleep. The house was clean and new. Laundry on site was a great amenity, but you do have to go outside to access it. This wasn’t a problem for us, but could be if you had inclement weather. The host was wonderful to work with, receptive to all feedback we gave, communicated well and in a timely fashion, and very helpful. Excellent location as well- outside of the city, but not too far to run into town for meals and groceries. Thank you for having us!

We stayed just one evening for an event occurring at Notre Dame the following day. Other family members are planning a return trip for a weekend.

All the furnishings and linens in the house were new and clean. This house had a lot of beds for the number of rooms and we fit in three different households into the three rooms. The rooms were on the smaller side though, and in the room with four guests, we had to store some of our suitcases outside the room because when the trundle was pulled out, it took up most of the floor space. And, none of the rooms have closets. The house is on a nice, forested property a little ways away from other homes on the street. The outdoor entertaining area was tidy and shaded, although we spent a lot of our time away from the house and didn't use it as fully as we could have. The kids especially enjoyed the hammocks and having laundry on site was good.Because we ate most lunches and dinners away from the house, the lack of a dining room table that can seat all guests didn't bother us, but it is something others should be aware of. The only indoor eating area is a small table with four bar stools (a little challenging to sit in for the toddler in our group). At the time of writing this, there was outdoor patio furniture with a coffee table but that also would not seat all eight of us. One last thing to be aware of is that you can hear the train whistles from this property and trains were running periodically during every night of our stay. This noise didn't bother me very much but my sister, who is a light sleeper, did need to use earplugs to block the noise.
