Marc was the best host I've ever had at a rental home. You can tell how much he enjoys hosting guests and making their stay excellent. He had snacks ready for us, he gave us recommendations of where to go and things to do and gave us clear instructions on how to get to the parking space on the property. The property itself was adorable. It's the kind of place you'd like to stay and hang out on a rainy or snowy day.

Marc communicated very well prior to our stay. He was very friendly when we arrived. The property is quiet inside and out. Very unique art collection. Very comfortable. We definitely recommend and will be back in the future.

This was the perfect little place for our girls getaway. Creatively decorated, comfortable, spotlessly clean, and filled with all of the necessities and more. Marc is a fantastic host who seems to have thought of everything his guests may need for a stay in South Haven. The beaches, trails, shops, and restaurants are just a short drive or bike ride away. This house is in a peaceful, and quiet neighborhood and offers plenty of privacy. We can't wait to go back.

This home and property are so beautiful and peaceful. It's conveniently located just down the street from beach access and Lake Michigan views, but quietly nestled on a wooded lot away from the hustle and bustle. Marc is a very responsive and helpful host, and a pleasure to meet if you get the chance! He sent a list of recommendations and directions to different sight-seeing spots around town. Made our trip as first-timers to South Haven a breeze. We definitely plan to be back!

The house was perfectly decorated for “Weird” Michigan with many collectic decor to bring you back to a relaxing time. Great location to ride the bikes provided to the trials or in town. The extra touches made this stay at the property perfect and the host was simply the best!

My wife, son and I had a great time in this VRBO. Marc was so kind and responsive, and his place is very nice and creatively decorated! The grounds are lovely and it’s just outside the city so very convenient. Marc gave us a great tip for a path to a small beach nearby. Highly recommended!!

It felt like home, but better! Charming area with lots to do. Marc had everything we needed & then some. It's the first time we didn't have to buy paper towels, toilet paper, cooking spray, seasonings, etc. The house was well stocked. He even had bicycles for us (& helmets) in the garage. We hiked, saw the sunset over Lake Michigan every night, shopped, walked the beach, explored nearby towns, enjoyed the parks, and ate way too much! It was just the right amount of activity while still relaxing. South Haven is great & Marc is the best. Highly recommend!!

Just around the corner from the first-floor entry is your very own patio & firepit - at the ready for some starry skied coziness. Filled with quirky curiosities and vintage pieces, this property is a fun find! Secluded yet close enough to reach the downtown area & waterfront by bike or hike via nearby trail - this was certainly an ideal location for us. The hosts were gracious, accommodating and extremely welcoming - offered everything we could possibly need and more. Those thoughtful touches did not go unnoticed and appreciated. We truly enjoyed our stay!

The hosts of this property are truly the hidden spotlight! They provided us with everything we could have needed. Their recommendations from where to eat to where to go to watch the sunset were on point! The other reviews don't lie, there are muffins and drinks, and a spare of anything you might have forgotten! 100% recommend!

Marc and Cheryl were excellent hosts. Communication was excellent, the home was very nice, clean and well equipped. The location was perfect, quiet but close to town. Highly recommended and we plan to visit again.

Marc is truly one of the best VRBO hosts I have ever met! He is kind and thoughtful and he communicates all the details without having to constantly ask. The guesthouse is fully stocked with everything you need and more! The bed is super comfy and the shower is FANTASTIC! It was such a great birthday weekend!

Marc is absolutely delightful, responsive, and helpful. He thought of absolutely everything from fixings for a bonfire, to anything you might need for a day on the beach. He is available to you any time you have questions or would like a recommendation. The home is close to everything you might want or need. It is quaint, cozy, and artistically sublime.

By far and away the best “hosted” rental we have ever come across. It was like visiting back home. The place was perfect and the host thought of absolutely everything. We can not wait to go back. We had a great stay in South Haven at this property for my wife and I for a quick getaway. The property is just a few minutes away from South Beach in South Haven and there are community parks with smaller beaches even closer. Water in this part of Lake Michigan is cool and refreshing. Lots of great shopping and restaurants in South Haven. A very nice and paved bike trail is very close to this property and we used it to go south to Van Buren State Park and it's beaches, or go north and ride up into South Haven. The home was very comfortable with all of the details thought out in advance. Lots of antiques throughout the home made it quite charming. Marc, the property manager, was very responsive and made everything very easy and comfortable for us. We very much enjoyed our stay and would consider returning in the future!
