Lovely stay at this property. The home was lovely and comfortable. Check in was easy. The area had lots to do, even in the winter. And the amenities at the home were fantastic as were the views. Would 100% recommend.

I had a truly wonderful stay! The property is extremely well taken care of and well equipped and I'm not sure that you could ask for a better location. This is one of those homes and settings that you DON’T leave to go to wineries and restaurants. If you do you’ll be less relaxed and wondering why the hell you left a perfect porch overlooking the lake. Also make sure you make time to watch the sunsets. We saw a perfect 10/10 sunset 3/3 nights. We do know how lucky we were with the unusual weather. The kitchen is well stocked so cook there and enjoy the house. As soon as you wonder if you’ll see a bald eagle one or two will fly over your head.

An unexpected trip for a family funeral had me stay here, and it was the perfect place to rest, restore and find beauty in the waters of Lake Erie. Ethan could not have made my stay better. Easy to follow directions and suggestions, gorgeous views and the most comfortable bed. Would highly, highly recommend and will be plan to return my family.

Ethan, the owner, was so nice and accommodating. We came up for our elopement and mini honeymoon and wanted a quiet place on the lake. The home is beautiful and fully stocked with everything you need. The master bedroom has a breathtaking view of the lake, and at night, the stars. We very much enjoyed our short stay and will definitely stay again in the future.

Incredible and numerous amenities - some of which are not even listed, such as an adjustable king bed. Sunset views are incredible.

Absolutely loved our stay. The owner thought of everything to make our stay comfortable and convenient. The little things mean a lot to us, like having a space for glasses and meds on each side of the bed, space in the bathroom for your toiletries, body wash and shampoo provided, well stocked kitchen, a large table to have a family dinner and game night. Playing Clue was a favorite of the kids. Mine was watching the sunset and stars at night out the huge windows overlooking the lake.

Very nice home with great accomodations. Good directions and easy instructions to get in . I woukd have liked better lake access, but the deck and kitchen were outstanding. My reccomedation, bring a sleep mask if you want to sleep later than 5:30.

We loved our stay on Lake Erie. The house was perfect in EVERY way. The house is perfectly maintained and offered anything you might need to cook a gourmet meal. This area offers so much to do. We will plan another trip for next June and will stay here for sure.

I would highly recommend this property for the perfect view of the lake on the deck and from the main bedroom, the cleanliness, and easy access to the quaint downtown of North East. Our stay couldn’t have been better!

The biggest plus side for this house is the hosts, they were so kind, caring, and accommodating to our family. Also very responsive, everytime I messaged they replied in less than 5 minutes. The house itself is so cozy and welcoming and the views from the back deck are amazing! I was a little disappointed when we arrived to find there was no water access at the house but we discovered after the first day that there is a neighborhood access point about 5 houses down. We were able to easily drive our car there and walk down the path to the water. The path is a little steep but very manageable, my almost 70 year old parents had no issues with it. Everytime we went over there was no one there and we had the place to ourselves, lots of room to swim or boat, and my husband caught a massive catfish in the water. I would suggest curtains or blinds be added to the upstairs bedroom because it gets so bright and hot in there during the day, was a little difficult for my baby to take afternoon naps as well because it was so bright. The only major issue we had during our stay was that the A/C quit working after about a day and a half. I contacted the host and he came over immediately to look at it. It could not be fixed during our stay but the host was genuinely sorry about it and offered to buy us dinner and credited us a night's stay for the inconvenience without us even asking for anything. Overall we enjoyed our stay and were happy with how the host handled the issues that came up.

We Enjoyed our stay in this house, it was a comfortable place on the lake. House was very well equipped & sunsets were amazing.

Absolutely perfect home for a couple weekends getaway. Cozy with a fantastic view of the lake from the master bedroom. Owners could not have put more care into their home, very clean, quality appliances, fast Internet and thought into every little detail. Everything was provide from a fully stocked kitchen, blankets in the living room, large screen TV, coffee tea, laundry and bath supplies all the way through to wrapped toothbrushes and paste in case you forgot. We've never stayed somewhere the owners out this much care and thought into their guests happiness and satisfaction. They've set a high bar and we will definitely be back next year.

We loved our stay here! The view is absolutely stunning and the host provided anything and everything we would need for a comfortable stay. This is a great location, close to Presque Isle and the bay, yet not right in the middle of things so it was nice and quiet, and so close to the wine trail!

This is a great house that’s got fantastic views of the lake. Everything was comfortable and the family really enjoyed the evenings on the back deck. The kitchen had everything we needed to make a great Mother’s Day brunch. They had a Weber grill which made it easy to put some steaks on. It was like this for all of the appliances and cookware, name brand and good solid quality. I really appreciate those touches. The best part was the master bedroom. It’s like something out of an architectural magazine. The ceiling to floor windows captured amazing views of the lake; waking up to the sunrise was a fabulous way to start the day. We truly enjoyed our stay.

The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare meals, we enjoyed our streaming services on the large TV, and watched the sunset from the deck. It was a wonderful, relaxing getaway.

Everything is comfortable in this wonderful, airy space overlooking the lake. Wake up to an unbeatable view. Very well appointed if you plan to prepare meals. Would love to visit in the summertime.

Ethan’s place truly lived up to the expectations created by the listing. Except the food and drink, everything you need for a stay of any duration is provided to make it as enjoyable as possible.Our only concern during the visit was caused by the design of the second floor. While the first floor is heated by modern thin-finned radiator baseboards, the upstairs uses a forced air system. The unit is in the space directly behind the wall of the king bed in the master bedroom. If anyone is a light sleeper, and you are visiting when the temperature might call for heat, comfortable earplugs are suggested.Cold and wind prevented us from spending as much time outdoors as my wife and I usually do, but the great area wineries and eateries were comfortable spaces to spend time indoors. If the house is available next time, we definitely intend to stay here when return to North East in the future. We highly recommend it for your consideration.

We had a wonderful time at this beautiful house! The views of the frozen lake were amazing. Thanks to Melissa for clearing the snow from the walk before we got there! We cooked a couple meals and the kitchen had everything we needed. This was our 2nd visit and we will be back! Highly recommend!

We had a very nice stay in a beautiful home from which we watched and heard the arctic blast freeze Lake Erie. Perfect place to appreciate something we’d never seen before.

The view was amazing and we enjoyed the strong snow storm curled up on the couch.

The property was great for our Thanksgiving get-together. The view of Lake Erie is wonderful, the house is comfortable and well-appointed (with a great kitchen), and our hosts were excellent. In fact, the owner (Ethan) really went above and beyond. We were unexpectedly snowed in by a lake-effect storm, and Ethan reached out to a neighbor who brought us pizza and wine! Just terrific people all the way around. A heartfelt thanks to all. We would definitely return to the Lake House!

Of course the view is splendid and of course it's well appointed BUT what this listing's online pictures can't show you is the thoughtfully crafted and ultimately cavernous space! Lots of nooks and crannies to privately reflect on some antique curios or hidden gem books while the surf throws mist quite literally spitting distance from the deck/s at an array of huge bay windows as numerous as they were draftless. The master bedroom's wow-ness cannot be understated. Kitchen has all the stuff someone with chef hands or a barista's touch may want. Bathrooms and showers all rocked. Excellent and prompt communication with host. Property exactly as described, and very clean. Guest book provided clear instructions regarding the amenities and pre-checkout procedures. We enjoyed walking in the quiet neighborhood and accessing the shore nearby. Would recommend to anyone looking for a quiet place to stay right on the lake.

We had a wonderful getaway at this lovely house on the lake! Everything was as described or better. We cooked a couple dinners and found the kitchen had everything we needed. The master bedroom is beautiful with its view of the lake and we appreciated the seasonal decor throughout the house. We spent a lot of time out on the deck enjoying the sound of the waves. We will definitely be back!

The house is on beautiful Lake Erie, close to wineries, beach, and has everything you need to have a relaxing stay. Clean and stocked, great communication.

This is the best VRBO property at which we have stayed. Perched on a cliff above Lake Erie in a quiet neighbor owned community, we were surrounded by quiet luxury. Ethan is a superb communicator. The few minor issues we had were quickly and rapidly resolved by Ethan. All issues were a result of our lack of understanding of features; Ethan quickly educated us on correct operation. The eclectic decoration left us discovering new decor items until the last day of our seven day stay. The luscious Italian black leather L shaped sofa is but one such item. Ethan's eagles were a daily delight as they perched on the treetops at the lake's shore. We even caught one eagle catching it's dinner from the lake. Sunrises and especially the sunsets were stunning (and we have the pictures to prove that!). We like to cook and Ethan's kitchen was exceptionally well equipped. From high end knives on a magnetic rack to several different methods available to churn out morning coffee. The pots and pans appeared to be brand new, never used. Was it perfect? No but so close it's hard to see the difference. We will visit this property again.

Perfect home to stay right on Lake Erie! The views from both floors are breathtaking and the sounds of the waves were peaceful and calming. It’s a blessing to hang out on the decks to enjoy the sounds and sights of the lake. It was a bit too windy during our stay, but sleeping with the windows open would have been a dream! In the same day we saw a double rainbow in the morning and a gorgeous sunset in the evening! The home is very clean and accommodating, no detail was missed! The decor was wonderful and you can tell the house is well cared for. Would recommend this to anyone who wants to stay on Lake Erie. Even though you can’t access the water, it’s absolutely worth it! We are very grateful for the chance to stay here!!

We came up from the Pittsburgh area just to get away and relax at the end of the summer and this was perfect! We were very impressed with all the amenities and cleanliness of this beautiful home. We look forward to coming back!

Spent alot of our time at presque isle, During our stay it was an awesome experience watching the 4 Bald Eagles land in the tree 20 feet from the back deck every day. Overall a great place to stay, absolute would stay there again!!!

Where to start. We stayed for a week, family of two adults and one 7 year old. Property exterior is very well maintained and handsomely landscaped. Parking is in front of property and clearly designated. Checking in procedure was easy and clearly communicated to us in advance, we arrived at exactly 4pm and everything was ready. I cannot say enough about the cleanliness of the house, everything was clean, neat, and organized. The kitchen is very well equipped, from coffee machines to tea kettles, a full set of non stick cookware, and every utensil you could want, all clean and in great condition. A very well thought out kitchen! Beds in both bedrooms were well made and comfortable, extra linens and blankets were on site. Portable fans were provided, which is a nice touch, in addition to the ceiling fans. We took advantage of the on site washer and dryer, which allowed us to pack lighter and come home with all clean laundry. Host provides great entertainment options, from high speed WiFi to a large tv with streaming capabilities. The deck overlooks Lake Erie with plenty of comfortable seating for those amazing sunsets. We can recommend this house without any reservations, it was so comfortable and nice to come back to in the evenings after visits to Niagara Falls, Freeport Beach, Erie, and so many other local attractions. A perfect vacation house for a small family!
