This was our first time staying in Northern Michigan and we hit the jackpot choosing this home. The location is great as it is a short 15-minute trip to Traverse City with easy access to Sleeping Bear Dunes, wineries, kayaking trips, etc. Bryan met us during the check in process and filled us in on everything that we needed to know for our stay. The house was very clean, and the yard was absolutely perfect for our family. The views of Long Lake are gorgeous, and the lake is very clean for swimming, etc. Definitely opt for the water package as the kayaks, boats and the pontoon were a big hit with our family. We will definitely be back.
We had a very relaxing vacation. The lake is so clean and clear! We spent a lot of time on the pontoon exploring the islands. We also did a lot of fishing and swimming in various parts of the lake. We enjoyed all the boating options as well. We also played corn hole, cooked out, read outside, had many fires (and s’mores), and fished from the pier. We had a great 4th of July week!
This house was perfect for a weekend getaway with some friends. The house is in great shape and came with many great amenities. It wasn’t far from downtown traverse either. Would definitely recommend renting here!
If you are looking for a Great Lake front, Great Lake views from kitchen and living room (so close it feels like you are on a boat) this is it. Comfortable home , no frills but everything you need. The lot location was cool!!! We felt secluded !!! All the outside room you need. The pontoon boat was a 2018 brand new perfect boat. Weather was cold, so we only went out one day for three hours. Host was very helpful.
Property was exactly as advertised. Everything was clean and in working order. Special touches with the basket of info for restaurants and other local recommendations. The check in was so easy and the communication from the owner was excellent! We relaxed each night at the fire pit with s’mores and family while seeing the moon reflect off beautiful Long Lake. The weather was wonderful. We had a couple of days right at 70 degrees and then some in the 60’s. Nights were cooler which made gathering around the fire so much fun! We were able to visit Sleeping Bear Dunes which is a must see and had a great meal at The Cove in Fishtown. Everything you need is so close, but at the lake house you feel far away from city noise. The house is literally right on the lake! We will be returning for sure!!
We had a great time in this cozy cottage. The setting is spectacular with views of the islands. Clear water and sandy beach & a very private lot. Just Wonderful!
Perfect weekend getaway! The property is wonderful for a group, and the Bryan is great with his communication!
Our family had a wonderful time at this property—we did the watercraft package and enjoyed all the boats and visiting the lake’s islands. The sandy beach is great for kids. Would love to come again.
Our family had a great time at the cottage and especially enjoyed the access to Long Lake. We enjoyed the kayaking, paddle boards, pontoon boat, loons, outdoor games and just enjoying the overall lake scenery. The cottage was suitable for our needs and had a great view of the lake. We would definitely consider going back!
This was the perfect vacation for our family of 6. My husband, myself and our 4 kids had a great time. The lake is beautiful and the property was perfect. We enjoyed fishing off the dock and exploring the islands with the pontoon. The kids loved the kayaks and paddle boards. We played cornhole and had a fire with s’mores every night. We will definitely be back
