A charming and serene country home. Located in the quiet foothills of the Beartooths. This house sits beneath the trees on a 10 acre lot with a babbling stream and a pond. Journey out on the country gravel roads to find this little oasis tucked in a tree grove. listening the creek, reading a good book, enjoying the shade. Take in the amazing scenery on the drive in and out of town. It will bring you back to a simpler time.



The Space:

Tranquility offers ataste of rural Montana life 15 minutes from Red Lodge. The crackling fireplace, private flowing creek alongside the house, private pond, tire swing, 10 acres of walking paths and serene landscapes speak to a simpler, calmer life- a life in Tranquility. The house has two bedrooms and one bath, a comfortable living room with floor to ceiling windows. The kitchen has all your basic essentials, a small dining table, and an open living area. There is a large garage for your use. The driveway can be tight to turn around in and is gravel/grass.



This property is unplugged- meaning no internet and limited cell phone service. Take the opportunity to enjoy some peace and quiet and spend some quality time with your loved ones.

The Neighborhood:

Located about 15-20 minutes from Red Lodge, Montana. This home is just around the corner from farms and ranches. Enjoy the most amazing Beartooth mountain views while taking in the scenic drive in and out of town.



If you are looking to enjoy the natural beauty of the area, Red Lodge is hard to beat. Enjoy watching the wildlife wander by including deer, moose, and turkeys. Red Lodge has many parks for that have great amenities including river access for Rock Creek, disc golf, tennis and pickleball, play structures, basketball courts. ice skating in the winter and farmers markets in the summers, baseball fields and soccer fields, a city pool, and green spaces with canopies of trees. There are also several trails including Rocky Fork trail that follows the edge of the bench for great views or a small trail down by Rotary Park that follows the river.



For the adventurers Red Lodge is nestled at the base of the Beartooths and sits just outside the Custer-Gallatin National Forest. So whether you want to explore the Nordic Trails in the winter, hike the mountain trails in the summer, or angle the rivers and streams, we have it all in our backyard.



Skiers and Riders can come together here at Red Lodge Mountain and enjoy the fresh groomed trails of Lazy M or find themselves in the steeps and deeps of Headwaters.



The Beartooth Highway is must in the Summer months. Take in the views from one of the most scenic drives in the country. The Beartooth Highway will bring you to the top of the world and you will enjoy high cascade lakes, wildlife, wildflowers, and stunning twists and turns.



Yellowstone National Park is only 70 miles south of Red Lodge via the Beartooth Pass in the summer months. It is about a 3 hour tour to get there through Silver Gate, but it is a trip you wont forget!



Getting Around:

Downtown Red Lodge is about 15-20 minutes away.



Yellowstone National Park is about 70 miles away via the Beartooth Pass, but it still take about 2 hours to get there due to the twists and turns along the way. Beautiful scenic drive!



The property is located to the NW of Red Lodge off of Hwy 78 headed toward Absarokee. The house is about two miles down a gravel road.



Other Things to Note:

Water can smell of Sulphur, but is safe to drink. Some people find this off putting.

Cell phone service is limited/spotty

There is no internet

The home is managed by a small local property management company. We will pre-check the property for you and have everything ready for your stay. We are available by phone or can be at the property to assist as needed.

    In the middle of Montana farmland. Wonderful. Creek is cool. We drove around the area for miles and loved it. One bump in the road and the landlord was prompt and stepped up to accomodate.
