Stayed Oct 21, 2025We absolutely loved our stay! The was house beautifully decorated in a way that made it feel a home away from home. We enjoyed our coffee on the lovely porch surrounded by trees. The huge windows allowed natural lighting throughout these entire house, while being equipped with shades that could be drawn for more privacy. The kitchen was well stocked with what we needed to cook. The host left emergency kits just in case and directions on where to find them. While we thankfully did not need them, it was a nice touch that left us feeling cared for and welcomed. The washer/dryer did exactly what we needed. The bedroom closest was big enough we could tuck away our clothes so we didnt feel like we were living out of a suitcase. All in all, the house is full of little touches from the host that truly made us feel welcomed and comfortable. I loved getting to stay in a part of Seattle that is so close to everything we wanted to do. We opted to rent a car and found it was easy to get around even at peak traffic times. I lived in the area for about a decade and moved away several years ago. I am hopeful to stay here again next time we come back to visit family and friends. (If this is your first time visiting Seattle, don't sleep on Discovery Park or Ballard. Seattle Center and the Market is a must visit, but definitely check out the neighborhoods surrounding Magnolia.)

Stayed Jul 7, 2025A perfect home for a single couple. Extremely cozy and comfortable. Its biggest plus is the very spacious deck with comfortable chairs a large grill. It’s very clean and neat. We didn’t bring our dog, but the host has definitely kept your furry friend in mind.

Stayed Jun 21, 2025The home was very beautiful and the neighborhood was nice and quiet. At times it did not feel like you were in the city. Only drawback for the stay was how low to the ground that the couch was and the walking space in the bathroom seemed to be a little bit narrow so takes some coordination for two people to move around each other when getting ready in the bathroom. The amount of natural light that is available is amazing ad well.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969This property was excellent overall, despite some minor hiccups. The house itself transports you back with its mid-century modern appointments and tiling. We really loved the windows and exposure to the trees on the property, and other than an occasional passerby, it felt very private, even with the shades drawn up. The living room is a great spot to read for a bit with the slider open to hear the rain or trees in the breeze. The kitchen has everything you need for a short or long stay, and the deck is a nice place to also unwind. The location is also excellent, and right along the 24 bus route, which brings you straight into downtown Seattle. This was very convenient coming from the airport, and with a free transfer, only costs $2.75/person for the rail and bus. It's also walking distance to Discovery Park for anyone looking to do a good walk in the woods, and only about 15 minutes from Ballard locks and the fish ladder. Getting to Ballard is also quite easy, with a 30 min walk or 10 min walk/bus combo. Just keep an eye on the time the locks close (9pm), as the walk along the bridge to Ballard is not ideal. While there was a few small issues (tub drained slowly/was backed up, one roll of toilet paper provided for four nights, projector inoperable) they were ultimately rectified by Vacasa's local maintenance team, who ensured those issues were rectified and also recommended a partial refund for the trouble. It really changed our minds about using Vacasa for future stays, and staying at this property again if we are ever in Seattle.

Stayed Oct 3, 2024Nice house and well kept. The couch and chairs are very uncomfortable so don't plan on relaxing in the living room. Overall it was a nice stay just couldn't sit and relax at the house.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969Stayed here for my 30th birthday with a friend. The house was just what we needed. Major perk being just a few minutes from Discovery Park and in a quiet, cute neighborhood. We loved grabbing coffee and heading to the parks in the morning - stunning views nearby! Ballard and Fremont neighborhoods were also easily accessible for food and shopping, and downtown didn't feel too far when we went in the evening. One thing to note: pet-fee was an outrageous upcharge after booking. Like more than the nightly rate for the house. I was pretty disappointed I couldn't bring my pup. Other than that everything worked out beautifully and we had an incredible time in Seattle.
