Perched on 13 lush acres of rolling hills, creeks, river frontage, and private trails, there will be no need to venture far to get a bit of fresh air. For animal lovers and bird watchers, keep an eye out for a wide range of wildlife including deer, bald eagles, geese, ducks, beaver, muskrats and migratory birds. The firepit will be just the place to gather to tell memorable stories at the end of an exciting day, and the gas grill will make preparing casual meals a breeze. When everyone finds a bit of time to kick back at home base, the interior will greet everyone with ample natural light, a spacious layout, and touches of contemporary charm. The living area will be the hub for movie nights and evening conversations with a mounted flatscreen TV offering streaming capabilities, a fireplace, a fantastic sectional sofa, and a fun swinging lounge chair. When mealtimes come around, the adjacent full kitchen features a coffee maker, espresso machine, beautiful countertops, bar seating, stainless steel appliances, and two sinks to make any recipe a breeze. Not to mention, privacy will be easy to find with the fourth bedroom being more like a guest apartment with a private entrance from outside (no entrance from inside the home), a mini-fridge, microwave, bathroom, and a small living room with a flatscreen TV.
As an added treat for the fishing enthusiast, the famous Rock Hole fishing spot is considered one of the best for catching Chinook salmon. It's located two miles downstream from the Trask River Hatchery and includes healthy populations of salmon, steelhead and cutthroat trout. The Trask River is known for producing world class runs of winter Chinook and steelhead. Another fabulous advantage of this property is the option to launch a drift boat on the river. Loren's Drift Boat Launch is situated just 2 minutes east from the property, on Chance Rd, toward the Hatchery. Please remember that an Oregon fishing license is required to fish at the property.

Had a great time with fellow veterans, friends and family. Its nice having access to the river with a just couple minutes walk out the back door. We cooked a couple of big nice meals in the kitchen. A crab cracker would of came in handy, we forgot ours. Also maybe a bigger cutting board. The three deep sinks did come in handy. Had a fire in the pit one night and that was fantastic with the chairs that were provided. We left our extra firewood there for the next traveleres. There was none there when we arrived but I brought some and apparently extra with me. We were salmon and crab fishing most of the time and it was an ideal HQ for that. Not far from fishing or crabbing and room to stretch your legs. Would definitely recommend for what we were doing and plan to come again!
The house is set back from the road in a country setting! It was a very peaceful stay. It is close to town and activities, but still feels like country living.
Beautiful interior and well furnished and spacious!
This home is even more gorgeous in real life than the pictures. We loved the architecture and open spaces. It was awesome waking up to mountain views and you can even see cows from the window. This is a great place for a family or a group of friends to hang out and escape from reality, with easy access to nature and all Tillamook has to offer!
