We were looking for a quiet spot on the water where we could disconnect. This property didn’t disappoint. It’s an older place and nothing fancy but it was perfect for what we were looking for. Mike was amazing! Very responsive and helpful throughout reservation to check out. Our dog ran off into the woods when we were checking out and he was flexible so we could spend extra time searching for the dog before check out.
My wife and I, our two young children and my Parents spent a long weekend at this lovely place. Close to Easton and St. Michael’s yet very private and quiet. The girls loved the pool and the hot tub. The house was great for hanging out and playing games and plenty of room for everyone. Water views from almost every room in the house. Wow! Spent a lot of time on the dock fishing and the fish were biting. My 7yr old caught a fish on her first cast!! Haha. Will definitely come back.
Lovely private property with lots to do!
I cannot say enough good things about this property. It was clean, well maintained, perfectly situated and had so many amenities. We were two families traveling together (each with a couple and two kids), and we had a blast playing tennis, hanging out in the pool, watching sunsets from the dock, drinking wine on the screened in porch and enjoying the fire pit for s’mores time. The kitchen was equipped just fine with everything I needed to cook meals for a party of 8, and I loved that the furniture was lived in and comfortable. Mike was incredibly responsive and easy to communicate with,
The whole place looks unkempt. I have many photos to show what I mean. I also kept the TMS made to the owner to ask for help. After texting him several times, he informed that he could not keep answering my messages anymore, and he reminded me that he was a very busy man, his time was very precious My answer was, If he is suc h a busy man he should hire somebody to take care of his house. We left ten days early, when the A/C broke down. I can give you specifics of all that was wrong, but I don't want to argue with the owner. I just wish that any future renter be aware of my impression and rating.
Exactly as advertised and noted in many previous reviews. You cannot beat the location. Yes, some things need updating but the house is clean and comfortable. Overall, just a great place to stay right between Easton and St. Michaels.
It was such a wonderful stay! The host was very responsive too. I plan on coming back soon!
My husband, daughter and I spent a wonderful Thanksgiving at this home. We are originally from Maryland but live in California now. The fireplace is huge and we enjoyed it everyday since we were welcome to use the firewood. The setting and water views are beautiful and relaxing. Kayaking, walking, and going into St. Michaels were our favorite activities. The kitchen had everything we needed for Thanksgiving dinner on the waterfront. We look forward to coming back!
We loved how tranquil the home was yet there was so much to do! The view is amazing as is the sparkling clean pool and hot tub. We all enjoyed the tennis court and playing basketball as well. The private dock was perfect for docking our rental boat. We paddle boarded and kayaked as well. It was the perfect get a way! Mike was excellent at responding right away. We hope to return soon!
We thoroughly enjoyed this property. The location down a one lane winding road heading into tranquility is second to none. The swimming pool was clean and in great shape. The hot tub was fun for all. The best part was sitting on the dock and catching more fish over a 3 day period than we could keep count. Even the crabs were so abundant near the dock that we were catching them on our fishing lines. The entire location is quiet and filled with some of the most amazing bird and water fowl watching. Two of the bedrooms are very large and have nice bathrooms. The bunk bedroom is perfect for families with kids but also big enough for an adult to sleep on them. There are certainly some things that could use updating in the house. The furniture is older and well broken in. The kitchen was lacking a few items (steak knives in particular) but all in all there was everything we needed to make the stay enjoyable. The charcoal grill was an nice touch as well. I would come back and rent this house again without any hesitation based on the serene setting alone. A+
