This pet-friendly cottage is a 2-minute car ride from just about EVERYTHING that Treasure Lake has to offer. There is something for everybody in the family to enjoy, from fishing, kayaking, swimming, golfing, bike riding, hiking and relaxing at one of THREE beaches during the summer months...to winter-season activities like sled riding, ice fishing, cross-country skiing, swimming at the indoor heated pool, or simply cozying by the fireplace in the vaulted-ceiling living room and streaming your favorite shows on the 55” flat screen smart TV.
Enjoy warm evenings and starry nights by the fire in the large, flat, tree-lined back yard, perfect for the kids to run around and play or for the adults to unwind on the furnished patio with their favorite beverage. Cottage comes with yard games and basketball hoop, as well.
(Note: Two children’s kayaks and life jackets are available for use).
Experience peaceful mornings with a stroll around the block to take in beautiful lake views. After a fun-filled day at the lake, unwind with a warm bubble bath in the master bathroom’s over-sized jacuzzi tub.
Prepare your favorite meal in the fully-equipped kitchen, or dine-in/order-out from plenty of nearby restaurants, including Treasure Lake’s own (and very delicious), Duffer’s Tavern. Our kitchen includes plates, glasses, utensils, pots/pans, etc., programmable coffee maker (coffee not included), toaster, microwave, crock pot, and blender.
We include fresh linens folded on each bed and fresh bath towels. A laundry room with washer and dryer is included in case you need to do any laundry. Some basic toiletries are provided for you to begin your stay (toilet paper, paper towels, hand soap); you may need to bring extra depending on the length of your stay.
We do our best to provide some firewood, but more will likely need to be purchased. There is a firewood stand close by, outside of Treasure Lake’s front gate.
2023 UPDATE: THE TREASURE LAKE PROPERTY OWNERS ASSOCIATION HAS CREATED A NEW RULE STARTING MAY 2023 THAT SHORT TERM RENTERS/VACATIONERS CAN ONLY USE THE POOL MONDAYS THROUGH THURSDAYS (AND NO POOL ACCESS ON HOLIDAYS). THERE IS A PUBLIC POOL A SHORT DRIVE AWAY FROM TREASURE LAKE THAT YOU CAN PAY THE DAILY ENTRY FEE TO USE. Bring beach towels to enjoy the pool and beaches! Cottage comes with six free pool/beach passes. Prices subject to change. Pool passes are not valid at the Silverwoods Indoor Pool (a small entry fee applies to swim at the indoor pool).
Feeling even more adventurous Treasure Lake is a hop, skip, and a jump from shopping, various wineries, and Cooks Forest.

We were in town visiting family and this was a perfect home base for my husband and I. The home was very clean and check in was super easy. Beds are comfy and there are lots of towels and washcloths. ( some places that we’ve stayed are stingy with these) It’s also close to the front gate which is a huge plus. There are deer everywhere-including on the roads, so be careful. This was our 3rd time staying here, so that says a lot.
My wife, two daughters and I stayed here while we visited my sister who lives in Treasure Lake. The property was clean, cozy and we enjoyed our stay. The kids enjoyed campfires and going to the indoor pool. Thank you!
Very nice, clean, convenient to town & country. Fall foliage, Elk viewing.
We had a family reunion in DuBois. We were lucky to find a place close to the reunion and to have time with our kids together instead of a hotel room. Unfortunately we didnt get a chance to use any of the facilities at Treasure Lake. The house was well stocked and just perfect. Miranda was quick to respond to my questions. Overall an excellent property.
We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay again!
Miranda’s property was great for our family trip to Treasure Lake. The property was well-appointed, and we enjoyed the games, the outdoor firepit, and proximity to the lake and beach. She was a stellar communicator, addressing any questions or concerns immediately.
What a great time we had. Took my fiends to see the elk, then off to the distillery for a tasting. That was fun. We enjoyed a great dinner at Luigi's, then came back and relaxed at the house. What a great house to visit with friends. I like it so much, I'm planning on moving to Treasure Lake in the spring!
We returned for another visit to DuBois for a wedding. We stayed here 6 months ago, and found the home clean and comfortable. This time we were able to enjoy the yard and neighborhood more as we had fantastic weather. The home is in a quiet neighborhood with endless possibilities for walks. We enjoyed watching the deer. Treasure Lake is a pretty large development, so we appreciated being close to the front gate because if you are on the far side of the lake, it can easily take you 20 minutes to get to the entrance. We also appreciate that the property is pet-friendly so we could bring our dog with us.
We stayed here in January because we were visiting/helping family, so didn’t do any touring, and knew that the weather wouldn’t be conducive to outdoor activities. The house was comfortable, and the kitchen well stocked with a nice-sized pantry. We cooked almost all meals in, so a nice kitchen was important to us. We had an issue shortly after check in which the owner remedied within hours. She also checked on us relative to the couple snow falls that we had during our stay to make sure that we didn’t need the driveway plowed. The house is close to the front gate which I considered a huge plus since we were in and out so much. It’s only about 3 minutes to front gate and another 2 minutes to town. It’s also on a quiet street with little traffic and nice area for walking. The only suggestion I would have is to update the dining room chairs as that set is really old and not much support on the seat. Would definitely stay here again when in town.
Greatly enjoyed our stay. The property owners were communicative and kind. Spacious open living area, well stocked kitchen, laundry access- perfect for a family stay! Close to lake, lodge, and not far from TL entrance.
Stayed here last year and enjoyed it again this year again with my senior mom and aunt. Easy access, all one level. Also deer in the back yard. We take trips to Winslow Hill and the Elk Viewing areas, just 30 minutes away. Hope to return again next year.
Extremely comfortable place, which brought the peace. The house is surrounded by empty wooded lots, which brought the quiet. Great flat area for walking the dog, while you gaze on a beautiful, sparkling lake. This was my second time staying here and for me that says it all.
We really enjoyed our stay! The house was very clean and comfortable. We loved the outdoor space with large backyard, spacious patio, and firepit. The house is located in a quiet wooded area, yet it is within walking distance to the pool and lake. Hope to return next time we are at Treasure Lake.
This cottage was a perfect place to stay in Treasure Lake! Clean, updated, and on a quiet street. I hope to be back soon!
Cute home, very clean, kitchen had everything we needed. Hosts were great to work with and quickly responded to any questions we had. Location was in a peaceful wooded area right around the corner from the lake.
We enjoyed the home and the yard area. Great for campfires and playing in grass and patio. Bonus was we hand fed a deer! Great place for a getaway to treasure lake!
One of the cleanest properties we have stayed at in Treasure Lake. Owners were really easy to work with! Great stay!
