We had an incredible weekend! We enjoyed a perfect mix of fresh snow and clear skiing days, and it was such a treat to come back to the cozy fireplace and relaxing hot tub. The VRBO was spotless, well-designed, and thoughtfully laid out. The location was ideal—close enough to town for convenience yet peaceful and secluded enough for a relaxing getaway. Highly recommend staying here!

Not quite as advertised. Fully stocked kitchen - It is a very nice kitchen. There's plenty of plates, cups, silverware, pans, tools, etc. Great fridge. Very fast internet plus HD Smart TV throughout - We had no internet for the whole 4 days of our trip. The Smart TVs worked upstairs in the 2 bedrooms but not downstairs in the living room. No wifi for our devices. Tried contacting the host for help with no resolution. Fireplace - didn't work but didn't affect our stay. Management available 24/7 - With all of our issues not getting resolved this proved to be false. We got some results from contacting Vrbo directly. We were without running water from 2am to 7:30am our first night, No wifi for the whole trip, the cabin is beautifully decorated but super dusty. It's probably difficult to keep the dust at bay but could use a quick dusting and thorough vacuuming right before guests arrive. I happened to sleep in the bunk bed. The mattresses need to be replaced. It was like sleeping on hard wood. According to my friends the other mattresses were just fine. My quilt smelled like the sweat from the previous guest. All that said, it's a cute place, perfectly situated among the trees, close and conveniently located to food, the lake and other activities. I'm sure the issues we had with our stay could easily be addressed.

From the moment we entered it just felt like the perfect place to stay. The cabin is cozy and welcoming, with plenty of storage and beds for a family of 4 to 6. Away from all the hustle and bustle, in a quiet community where we might have seen 10 cars driving past the whole 5 days. Evenings in the hot tub were cold, yet the perfect ending. We could drive just a few minutes to any store or entertainment. We return from our vacation feeling totally refreshed. We will see if this exact cabin is available next vacation. It would be a wonderful tradition.

We were in town for a wedding with my son and daughter in law. We had a great time. Cabin was clean and cute. We enjoyed the hot tub. Older cabin with a few minor things that could use updating. The main thing would be the upstairs bedrooms you cannot open the windows because the screens are torn so bugs will get inside. It was warm during the day and cool at night so opening those would have been nice. Other than that we had a great stay.

This house was great for our group of 8 girls on a bachelorette trip. Within a 15 minute drive to everything we needed and great location to relax after a busy day. We very much enjoyed the kitchen/living space and hot tub. The pull out couch is not the most comfortable but we made great use of it for a movie night. When we arrived we realized there is not AC in the house. This is my fault for not reading the listing but wanted to note in review in case anyone else is booking is the summer. The owners did supply box fans and advised we keep windows open so the house did cool a little by the time we went to bed and we were comfortable. Overall we very much enjoyed our stay!

It a nice and clean property it was what I expected. We had a glitch with the water system but nothing major they were able to help us with in minutes. The downstairs stairs bedroom bed was not very confortable and you could hear the wood cr from the upstairs bedroom Will be back next summer.

We enjoyed the property. It was quaint and cozy. Backyard had a nice chill vibe to it. Wish there were more dishware, pots, pans, etc. for the kitchen. Overall we were pleased.

The house is quite comfortable and a short drive to both Heavenly and Sierra-at-Tahoe. The kitchen was well equipped. The sunken hot tub on the deck is really fun (though we couldn't find a light for the deck). The rooms were spacious and comfortable and the kids loved the room with the bunk beds. If you have small kids or folks with mobility issues, note that the staircase doesn't have a railing. Also, it is a bit creaky when folks walk around upstairs. If you are going during ski season, make sure to have chains and/or 4WD because the driveway can be icy and you can't park on the road. The house does have salt and shovels as well. The owners/managers were very nice to accommodate our last minute date change request. There was some confusion and lack of communication that fell out of that change which resulted in the place not being fully cleaned before our arrival. The team responded quickly after that, which was much appreciated.

On our third attempt to make it there with all of the road closures, we did at nearly midnight 2 days later. We awoke to neighbors and the local sheriff suggesting us to leave while we can. There were power outages on and off around us, this property included. There was no food in the grocery stores as well as no gas in the local gas stations. The roads would open and close often. Only those that had stocked up in preparation for this storm were equipped to stay there. I know VRBO and it's owners do not offer refunds but I know of many people that have been offered the same place at a different time due to these situations. Awaiting to hear back from someone on this.
