We enjoyed the house very much! Was clean and had everything we needed.
beautiful cabin and property loved the screened in porch and the outside area next to creek. Enjoyed our stay very much, wish we had booked for a longer stay.
Our family enjoyed everything about the property. From the fishing, playing games, making smores around the fire, and making memories.
.
The house was lovely and had everything we needed for a fun family vacation. The river behind the house was fun to tube and fish in. The fire pit was convenient and relaxing. The large yard around the house was fun to play in, and the hot tub was clean and a nice escape from the bugs. The house is very creaky and you can hear EVERYTHING happening upstairs. The wood floors don't offer much insulation to noise. The kitchen is well stocked and large enough for two families to gather and eat. Bring your own tubes, fishing poles, bait, firewood, charcoal, bug spray and you'll have a blast at this remote cabin.
House is beautiful with many features. Great for active people with great walking/hiking in the area. Area book is very thorough and so much you can do. Outdoor spaces and river access very nice.
This property was beautiful. It was a little slice of paradise. Lots of wildlife, and good trout fishing. Would definitely go again.
Too many stairs
Great place and great location
Very satisfied with property.. Just wish I had taken the right fishing gear!!! House is Awesome... A must stay for avid trout fishing folks!!!
We really enjoyed our stay at this home. Plenty of room for all of us. We loved staying right on the river. Great outdoor area with fire pit and picnic tables. Kitchen is stocked with everything needed for cooking. We will be back next year!
Had a great time fishing and relaxing at the house. The property is very private and is right on the river. Would definitely recommend.
The property is nice and secluded, but is about 25+ from everything. The owners reached out personally to ensure we had everything we needed before checking in. We loved the home and was able to sleep our large family comfortably. Any issues we had were addressed immediately. Cleaning seemed short-cut a little. Very dusty areas with lots of buildup. Was disappointed there was no access to laundry. Overall, we would probably stay here again for the price and size.
Great place
This is a beautiful house in a beautiful setting. Located right on the river with great mountain views from the front and lots of open spaces surrounding.
The cabin is great! We selected it because of it's proximity to section walk the AP trail from the southern terminus at Springer Mountain. Section hiking is an effort in logistics and works well from this cabin. It's big and is located on a river which is great after long AP trail section walks. Swim in the cold river followed by 15 minutes in the hot tub and you feel great. Pet friendly......... our dogs loved the openness, as did we, and we cooked smores in the pit each night..... bring bug spray. All communication was easy, check-in was easy, as was check out. Thanks for a great long weekend.
Was nice and great setup outside for picnic. Only wish it had rocking chairs instead of benches.
Very nice property and the kitchen had everything needed to cook meals and then some! Comfortable beds, lovely deck overlooking the river, hot tub was an added plus. I would definitely stay here again.
