The location and view were awesome. The house was so charming. We do wish there would have been a little manual with all details in it. Did not know what remote went to and did not find a dishwasher that was referenced and detergent left for it. We did thoroughly enjoy our stay. Lovely, lovely.

This was a lovely property, the house was very comfortable, the setting was perfect. The small dock across the street was absolutely gorgeous to put a couple of chairs out, eat breakfast, have a drink and watch the stars at night surrounding by the life of the wetlands and the view of the lighthouse. The kitchen was very well stocked with utensils, pots, pans, dishes. Location was a convenient bike ride to town and the beach. Make sure to note that the stair to the two bedrooms and two baths upstairs is a narrow circular stair. Two things to note: the outlets in the house are oddly very loose and we had problems finding outlets tight enough to charge devices. Secondly, the dishes, pots and pans were not well cleaned and we found we needed to wash most of them before we used them the first time. Regardless, it was a great place, lovely setting and a beautiful stay.

Beautiful view of the water and lighthouse! Plenty of space for our group of 4 adults and a baby. Spiral staircase was narrow but it worked for our group. We drank coffee on the porch in the mornings and used the outdoor space and grill in the evenings. Lovely decor all around the home. We would rent this home again!

The house was very good for our family. Private space as needed. We used all 3 bedrooms bathrooms. I sat out on the dock in the evenings and enjoyed the view. Hosts were very prompt to reply and kept in touch

Enjoyed our stay over the long weekend. Had a great time reading and looking at the lighthouse. I was glad I only had a small suitcase, not sure how I would have managed the spiral staircase with anything larger. The temp between the main floor and the upstairs was significantly different and need to turn the temp way down at night to make sleeping upstairs comfortable. Overall enjoy the house.

This was a multi-generational vacation with guests ranging from a year to 70. The property was exactly as described. Clean and convenient. The communication from the owner/manager was very good with prompt replies to questions. We'd definitely stay their again.

Beautiful property with a gorgeous view. The biggest drawback is the spiral staircase, which taxed one person's knees, and made taking luggage upstairs a challenge. We barely got the large suitcase up at all! The teenager in our group found the small bedroom/screened porch to be magical.

We were two families, and it was an incredible week over the 4th of July. Every time you walk into the living room there is a sense of calm looking out to the lighthouse. Great back area, and outdoor shower. We would happily return.

Awesome view! Included a small dock across street. Kitchen and appliances adequate with quartz countertop. Parking tight. Mattresses really hard. Did supply linens and towels though. Upstairs access tricky with spiral stairs. Window blinds could use some updating. Great dining space (for game night, too). Large living area. Friendly people. Chincoteague seems like a nice safe place for families. Overall nice stay. Thanks!

Very cute house with sufficient bathrooms and space for a family group. Great view out front to the dock and marsh, although fishing and kayaking not really possible since channels aren’t open there. Free fishing downtown and at nearby memorial park so not a biggie. We could see the lighthouse with naked eye and ponies with binoculars across the way. Bikeable to the Asseteague Island preserve and downtown. Kayaking very nearby- lots of fun things to do. Two very minor beefs-AC great downstairs but not as good upstairs and -for an early departure time (10AM) it seems a bit much to have to have dishes washed, dried and put away. It made the morning tight for us.
