The property was a clever idea, but for a tiny house the spaces were not utilized to the maximum. The bathroom tile was very moldy and there were dead flies and dust on the widow sills. There was no soap or shampoo, the utensils for cooking in the kitchen were like stirring with a rubber spoon and the cutlery was scarce. The coverings on the windows allowed all light from town to filter in to the sleeping spaces. Would not recommend this property and it was very overpriced for the value of the stay.
excellent kitchen and bath. smaller upstairs sleeping area hard to access.
It was fun staying in Leadville in a tiny house community and Molly was pretty much as advertised. However, there has been a remodel at some point so the living room looks a bit different than the photos. So if you were counting on the black storage unit shown in the photos, it's no longer there. The full-sized refrigerator was not in working order, so don't count on that either. There was a dorm room sized fridge placed in the only closet area now available to hang up coats/clothes. I was very disappointed in the lack of communication from the property manager, as the questions I asked at time of booking were never answered, and there was no mention of the above surprises. The unit was warm enough through the night, which I was concerned about at the time of year I visited, but I planned ahead and brought a sleeping bag. I'm glad I did because the only bedding provided was more suited for summertime. Despite the negative reviews, the unit did seem clean.
The pics made it look like it was by itself, turns out its in a tiny home community. The inside was a little dirty and the craftsmanship was severely lacking. If you take a shower you’re liable to get your foot cut as there is missing tile on the floor. Overall it was alright.
tiny house Molly was fun and convenient to stay at! we really enjoyed being here but wanted to note the WiFi was down (we went into town for it) and one of the bedrooms is accessible only by ladder - we were up for it, but not everyone might be!
This house was perfect for our stay in what is a very charming little town. I am a pretty tall person and the accomodations were a little tight but comfortable. Perfect little spot to get away from city life.
Location was not what we expected, very close to the main street. Laminate flooring had a lot of black/grey dust, showed up on our white socks quickly. Shower floor needs some help, tiles broken out. It was interesting and fun as we hadn't ever been in a 'Tiny House'
We ended up in Leadville kind of last minute for a funeral in Granite. The town was cute and lively (before 9pm lol) and the tiny home community and RV park worked out great. The Molly has some interesting quirks ( awkward stairs and ladders that lead to awkward bedrooms) but we made it work! We would stay here again if we had the chance.
Our first stay in a tiny house (Molly) was a great experience. Our family of 4 had a fun time. Though the TV didn't work (no internet connection), we made the most of it--enough room for 4 people, good size kitchen for our meals and easy access to Ski Cooper. The hot water ran out the first day (tankless water heater kept hot water on (whether you wanted hot or cold water) the 1st 1 1/2 days then no hot water the 3rd day) so we were glad it was a short stay. Leadville is a wonderful little town, very nice people and delicious food. Some places (visitor's center, some restaurants) are closed during the week so be sure to check what is open before booking.
Had temps of -15 one morning but wouldn’t have known as house was toasty! Tried to watch a movie by it tv is impossible to see... Worst couch EVER!!
Four people in Molly would get two thrown out - Molly is a tiny house. I think it is better for one. The kitchen and bathroom are good, but the low ceiling in both lofts and the step ladder to the small loft take getting used to. The step ladder Is not usable for older people, and that applies to some people about the steps to the master suite, IMHO. Molly worked for me alone, but tiny houses are unique.
The Tiny House Molly is awesome - actually had a lot more space than what I expected. The kitchen was a good size and the overall layout was well thought out. Such a nice touch to enjoy the gas fireplace in the winter months. Everything was very clean! One comment is that we has some water come in dripping from the snow melt near the breakfast bar. The manager said he had been troubleshooting the issue. We will definitely come back!
