Stayed Oct 12, 2025Very cool experience to stay in a well kept historic home. It was incredibly spacious. It was also perfectly located - we easily walked to every major attraction downtown. The host was very responsive to any question or request. Would definitely recommend staying here if you like unique experiences and want to be close to tourist attractions.

Stayed Mar 4, 2025My colleague and I stayed at the bressmer House a year ago when we had a conference in Springfield. We loved it so much that this year we decided to try the second floor. It was equal to our experience on the first floor! Beautifully furnished and supremely comfortable. It was a welcome refuge after long days at the conference. The location is perfect and we would both stay here again.

The rooms are beautifully decorated and the beds and furniture are very comfortable. We would have enjoyed more than 4 plates and 4 coffee mugs as our party of 6 did not have enough.
