A few issues to bring to your attention to correct. Hot tub would not go above 80 degrees even though I adjusted the thermostat to 104. Appears you have an issue with it. Front door handle broke off in my hand when closing the door. The bottom screw holding it in place was missing leaving it weak. Didn’t know this until it broke off in my hand. Toilets on main floor and second floor had issues with the flushing mechanism leaving them with weak flushing. Had to plunge many times, especially on the first floor. We bought you a new plunger because the one you had wasn’t strong enough. Outside of that and a few cleanliness issues we really appreciated the house, great size for our Thanksgiving.

Do not overlook the warning about needing four-wheel-drive and snow chains. Our four-wheel-drive truck got stuck and needed a tow from a tow truck with four-wheel-drive and chains who was slipping on the driveway. We did park our extra car by the Guard house but that is a far walk if you come with one car. House is what you expect when looking for a place in the mountains. It was perfect to entertain 7 teenage boys in the basement. So close to timberline and great skiing. Loved the house.

Wi-Fi was not working and it was not fixed even after calling customer service several times a day. They do not answer the phone and get back and no action was taken. The gas cylinder for the grill was also empty and replaced after 1 day. Overall poor customer service

There were enough queen sized beds for most of our group of couples, and the kitchen had so many things in it! We had a lot of fun playing games in the basement, then going in the hot tub afterwards. The team at Mountaintop is always so friendly and helpful!

For value and location this was a good pick for our family vacation. The house worked. There wasn’t anything spectacular about it. Some things to note that would have been nice to know: check in was at the office a few miles away. “Easy lake access” for boating wasn’t easy at all and the listing was very misleading - had to drive 5 min down to lake, find kayaks that weren’t locked up, drive a couple miles to office to acquire paddles and life vests - oh wait! They didn’t have any paddles so you had to use canoe oars, drive back to lake, drive back to office to return equipment when finished, drive back to house…you get the idea. Basement was very musty smelling and there was a broken spindle in the railing - with toddlers this was scary - notified office and they said they would take care of it. Hot tub was ok when we arrived - but after two nights of use was extremely scummy and stanky so unusable. Like I said, the house worked, had all the essentials, wasn’t crazy dirty or anything, layout was good. It worked. Just good to know what you are getting.

This house was amazingly quiet and almost bug free! Being in the middle of the mountains, we expected more bugs outside and wouldn't have thought twice about a few inside. There's no air conditioning, which is common for this area. The house felt clean except for a few rugs, which were all super slippery without rug tape. The washer and dryer were new and easy to use. The hot tub were a hit with our teenagers and worked perfectly. The driveway is no joke though - the steepest one I've ever been on. Add the gravel, and it was pretty slick. We did enjoy this property and would recommend staying here.
