'Three Sisters Cottage' - 4th House from Lake

House was perfectly clean, every need was thought of, it was a winter stay so there were blankets for every bed in a closet nearby, heat was great, plenty of space for everyone to hang out together or separately, kitchen had EVERYTHING, including a couple of Keurig pods and some coffee - yay. Sheets were soft, quilts on beds lovely, everything was in perfect working order. Space to host friends as well.

Location! My parents live next door and we needed extra space- so it was perfection being so close. House was cozy and hosts were responsive with any questions we had. Very happy with the stay! I grew up here in SH so I always enjoy being home :)

Three Sisters Cottage is a gem of a home in South Haven, MI. A very comfortable well appointed home with all sorts of amenities, it sits four homes from the expansive scenic beach of Lake Michigan with access to walking the beach, strolling the picturesque neighborhood or walking ten minutes into a lovely downtown with shops and restaurants. The home has great reading, sitting, and cooking areas. Four of us friends packed in conversations, meals, quiet time and comfy sleeping in this charming home.

This is a very quaint house with close access to the beach. The four of us enjoyed the property very much. Close to the town center. Would definitely rent this property again.

Three Sisters Cottage is an exceptional vacation rental! It is absolutely clean, cozy, comfortable, and has everything you need for a getaway. It feels like a home away from home. :-) Peter is a welcoming host and is always available for any questions that come up. The area is terrific. Of course the beautiful beach and lighthouse so close but also such a walkable town with many great shops and restaurants to explore and even a movie theater if there’s a rainy day. It’s easy to walk to catch a boat ride as well. South Haven is centrally located to some other great towns up and down the coast to visit too. We had a wonderful and relaxing stay!

Great location, 7 minutes walk to the beach area. Nice quiet neighborhood clean! Looks as good as it did in the pictures.

The cottage is in good condition and stocked with everything needed. It also has a lot of comfortable seating inside with two good sized lounging areas. The location is great with a very short walk to the beach and very walkable to the downtown area. Peter the owner was great with communication and very helpful with information about South Haven. I would definitely stay here again.

It is our fourth time returning to this property for a friend’s getaway. Excellent location and perfect accommodations. Always clean and well stocked!

We’ve been staying here for a few years. Can’t beat the location. The house is perfect for our needs. The property is very pretty.

Check in was a breeze. The house was not only in a great location, it was big enough for everyone and had a fabulous outside area-both in the backyard but also in the front. The table out front was a great place to play dominoes with great views of the lake and sunsets. The house was also well stocked with everything we needed.

This was our Third year at Three Sisters Cottage and it was perfect! The location to the beach is great , and you can easily get anywhere in just minutes. The Cottage itself is welcoming and has a great vibe, can’t wait until next year!

Comfortable place. Had issues with the nest adjusting at night to “cool” to 83 degrees.

This house was a perfect place for a getaway to the beaches of South Haven. Literally can have your feet in the sand in minutes. The house itself also feels very beachy with the decor, colors, and vibe. The walk to town is a bit longer, but not outrageous. We left our car parked and had no problem getting around by foot. We wish we could come back next summer, but this cottage is already booked!

The property is at a great location. Communication with owner is good. I need to remember to take a blow dryer. It has 2 types of coffee pots. It does not disappoint.

We would live in this cottage year-round if possible. Hated to leave. Very clean and cozy. Cottagey is what I wanted and this stay fit the bill. Even with the rainy, cold weather we ennjoyed ourselves immensely. EVERYTHING and more than we could have asked for was provided. Spices, oils, every imaginable appliance. Lovely nautical decorating.

This was a wonderful stay for my family including 2 small children. The location absolutely cannot be beat - literally steps down to the beach and around the corner from the playground. Both a must with kids! The house is even nicer in person than in pictures and the detail and decor throughout is great. We also loved having access to beach toys and the plenty of games in the house. Clean & Cozy! Easy to access/close to the Lake and beach. Almost anything you would need is provided. Decor is beach house lovely, neighbors very friendly. Aside from some iffy weather, we had a wonderful stay and would book this property again!

Jost super except for the trouble we had accessing the house on arrival.

My sister,brother,sister-in-law and I really enjoyed the Sisters cottage. The location was great. we could walk to the lake and could go to church just up the road. The cottage was clean and tastefully decorated. We are making reservations in the next day or so for another visit. Thank you for a great few days. Ann

The Cottage was so welcoming and comfortable as soon as we walked in the door. It feels like a well-loved home with all the cozy touches. A lot of thought was put into making sure there are enough places to sit, hang jackets, tuck sandy shoes, hang towels etc. We slept well and everything was super clean. The kitchen was very well-stocked too. Peter was so helpful and friendly in his communications with us. It made us feel welcome :) The neighborhood is quiet, pretty and very walkable to the beach and into town to catch a boat ride, shop, see a movie or have a meal. The beach is beautiful with soft, clean sand, the lighthouse and, of course, gorgeous Lake Michigan. Sunsets were amazing. And several benches are available alongside the road looking out over the water. For kids, the neighborhood has a park/playground and there is a really nice playground on the beach towards the lighthouse. The town has some great shops and places to eat. South Haven is in a great location to venture to other towns up and down the coast too. We had a lovely, fun and restful vacation. Couldn't ask for more!!

My husband and I stayed at the Three Sisters Cottage for the weekend of our wedding. Our stay was amazing. We loved being so close to our wedding spot on the beach. We also loved waking up to the sound of waves crashing against each other. This was such an incredible weekend and we loved the hospitality!

This home was perfect. Our family of 5 has gone on our fair share of trips and this was by far the best one yet. Everything we could think to need was found in this home and the location was excellent. The beach was so close, and with 2 playgrounds and an ice cream shop in walking distance, my kids couldn’t have been happier. The house even included some much needed beach items and a backyard big enough to entertain during the little one’s nap time. We are already looking to book our next home and this house will hopefully be our destination! Thank you again!

This house looked just like the photos. Great location close to the beach and close to town. Kitchen was well supplied. Beds were comfortable. Comfortable seating/gathering area. Cute decor. I would recommend this house.
