The Galveston House is located on the trendy and popular west side of Bend, in the heart of the Galveston District. It is within strolling distance of area hot-spots like 10 Barrel Brewing Company, Victorian Café, Phil’s Growlers, Ariana, Paradise Produce Stand, and The Lot---a great Food-Cart court with outdoor dining. The Galveston House uses solar power and was designed with green efficiency in mind. We have used wonderful re-claimed, one-of-a-kind items to make this home warm and welcoming.

Nearby you will find great bike shops, recreational outfitters, and fabulous local-favorite juice bars within two blocks. Jump right onto your bike and in less than 2 miles you are at Phil’s Trail known for its excellent mountain biking. Load your board or skis and you are just 20 minutes from Mt. Bachelor and powder slopes. The historic downtown is just a short 10 minute stroll away, much of that through Drake Park along The Deschutes River. No matter which way you turn, you are in the thick of delightful Bend.
This is a private, standalone house exclusively for guest use. The house, grounds, hot tub, and parking area are unshared. We have complete contactless check-in for the convenience and safety of our guests.
All towels, linens and bedding are included. We also leave guests a small amount of starter supplies including: toilet paper, paper towels, dish and laundry soaps, hand soaps, bath soap, shampoo, and coffee bar items mentioned above. We also provide blow dryers, iron and ironing board. Please plan accordingly to bring anything else you may wish to have with you on your trip.
Note: Guests who book this home will be required to sign an auxiliary rental packet with specific rules and information included, such as neighborhood quiet hours, check in and out time restrictions, and non-smoking policies. If you are traveling with a pet, you will also need to sign a copy of our pet rules.
**Our cancellation policies that you agree to at the time of booking are in effect even during a pandemic, winter travel season, summer wildfire season, etc. We highly recommend researching and purchasing third party Cancel for Any Reason (CFAR) trip insurance for any unforeseen circumstances that may arise that may require you to cancel or postpone your reservation, especially those related to COVID-19 closures and restrictions.

We've stayed at this property in the past and loved it. It really is in the perfect location. We walked to Old Bend (15 min), Old Mill (20-25 min) and of course right across the steet to 10 Barrel Brewery. Sun River Brewery is about a 2min walk and they have great food...and beer of course. The house is well cared for and has everything you need to enjoy your stay.
Return guests for a reason - easily walkable to breweries, restaurants/cafes, old town and Old Mill districts, parks, and the river. Quick access to the mountain. Plenty of space for meals with family and friends. Fully fenced yard the best feature per our dogs. :-) Easy check in/out. Plenty of parking. We’ve stayed here a couple of times and hope to make this a more regular trip.
This is a nice updated older home just off NW Galveston which is a great trendy street for food and drinks. You can walk or ride to downtown. The house is well equipped and lacked nothing we needed. Lastly, this property was also dog friendly but we saw no evidence of other dogs when we stayed. We will certainly consider staying here again.
Rented this property for a long weekend getaway and it was just what we needed. Clean, excellent location, walking distance to just about anything you will need. Large fenced back yard, hot tub and plenty of good times. Thank you.
Great place, great location .unfortunately the Wi-Fi didn’t work and another family showed up with the combination expecting to stay.
Love the location
One of the best locations in Bend. Walk to everything and enjoy great restaurants just blocks away. The house was very comfortable with a well-stocked kitchen. Enjoy evenings in the hot tub even in the cold spring weather that came through.
We really enjoyed our stay at this property - comfy and clean & a great location! Property manger great to work with and good with communication! Will stay here again in the future :)
We rented this house for two weeks in Bend. You can’t be the location to great restaurants, Drake park (and the floating take out point), and downtown. We loved being able to walk everywhere and not deal with traffic or parking hassles. We even walked our paddle boards down to Mirror Pond and back. The yard is a great and hot tub was a great bonus. Best of all, we could put our names in at the nearby restaurants and wait for our table back at the house.
