We cannot wait to stay here again. Perfect location. The woods are beautiful and no more than 15 minutes from downtown galena and many other attractions.

It was nice to be so close to hiking trails for the dog and was an easy trip to Galena for a day of shopping. Good communication with host.

Pretty home. Very dog friendly. Could not get dvd player in basement to work. Would have liked a tv in common area. Overall a great experience. Thank you!

Location was very quiet and private yet not far from downtown Galena. Especially enjoyed the “visit” from a flock of 20 wild turkeys!

My children and I stayed 4 nights after Christmas in Aspenhouse, and it was a fabulous place to unwind and relax after the holidays. The house was set up beautifully for family time, and we loved the feeling of being outside while still in the house. It was warm enough to take a little advantage of the three porches the house has, and can imagine how terrific it would be in the summer or fall. While there was a separate floor in the basement for gathering, we all wanted to be together and the main floor was perfect for it. The kitchen was well stocked, and there were maps and info to everything we needed, including the trails through Galena Territory. I would definitely recommend this home to anyone wanting to enjoy the woods and each other.

The property was beautiful. The house was great for our short get-away. We were able to walk on the trail near the property to enjoy the nature nearby. It was a shorty drive to downtown Galena. Thank you for helping provide a relaxing stay!

My family rented this cabin for a 40th birthday getaway. What a lovely house and quiet, secluded spot to enjoy nature. Close enough to town but far enough out to feel the quiet. The owner was easy to communicate with and the house had everything we needed. Can’t recommend enough.

We came for the weekend of the Halloween parade and this property was perfect for us and the kids!

Beautiful property with lots of amenities. Having a grill on the screened-in porch was incredible; there were lots of areas to play games and/or relax; and the trail down to the lake was clearly marked and a great walk. The cabin is set in the middle of a stand of trees so feels very private. Would definitely stay here again!

Aspen House is a lovely home. Plenty of room & bathrooms. We had hoped to use the fire pit, but it was too windy during our stay. If we have the opportunity to come again, we would definitely stay there!

House is in a very quiet wooded area . Screened in porch is perfect for coffee and evening relaxing . Home has all you need for a great getaway . Easy ride into Galena . Communication was simple and fast. Highly recommend .

The Aspen House is one of the nicest, cleanest & impressive venues we have ever stayed in & would definitely consider returning. Hailey was an exemplary host & her communication positively awesome.
