The house appears to be a work in progress. The kitchen and both bathrooms are upgraded/renovated and look nice with the gray & white color theme. The a/c works great & it kept the house nice & cool. Samsung washer & dryer too. That said, the rest of the house felt dreary and did not have a homey feel to it at all. It's sorely in need of a decorator's touch in all the bedrooms and the living room. The pictures in each room looked as if they'd been purchased at the nearest thrift store, as did the bed linens. The elastic on the fitted sheet for the King bed was totally shot & kept slipping off the corners.Drawers in mstr. bdrm. dresser had misc. debris in it, & needed cleaning attention. Queen bed was more of a cot than a bed, and had no support. No side tables by the cot, so my husband had to put his book, phone, etc, on the floor beside the bed! The driveway needed attention/upkeep, w' weeds and grass growing up thru the cracks. All in all, this was just not a guest-oriented house, from the unwelcoming front porch area, to the overgrown backyard grass/weeds. Lastly, if a person is sensitive to noise at night, this isn't the house to be in. With fireworks being set off, (this was June!) and the nearness of the railroad tracks, several trains roared thru the neighborhood each night. On the plus side, the property mgr. was very pleasant and helpful. This house does have the potential to eventually become a nice vacation rental after a decorator's touch.

The location was okay for what we needed, but unfortunately, the overall experience was disappointing. There were fireworks and dirt bikes going off late into the night and early in the morning, making it difficult to get a good night’s sleep. The cleanliness of the unit was also below expectations - the floors were filthy and didn’t feel like they had been cleaned before our arrival. I walked around the house barefoot and the bottom of my feet were black with dirt. There were ant-traps all over the house that didn't seem to work as we saw several ants and spiders in the house. The listing mentioned a hairdryer, but there wasn’t one in the unit. When I contacted the host about it, it took several hours to receive a response, which was frustrating when trying to get ready for an important interview. The front door code barely worked. Pressing the buttons was unreliable - sometimes they didn’t register at all, or there was a long delay before they did. At one point, I had to call the property management office because we were locked out. The woman on the phone was kind and willing to help but we ended up getting in the house. Generally, an okay experience because we didn't spend much time at the house but would not stay again.
