Stayed Dec 20, 2025This was our 14th stay on Dauphin Island. Boardwalk Realty has been our host for every stay. They are the best!Over the years we have stayed principally in bay front homes (because of our grandchildren love the freedom of the bay) but this time we were beachfront. It was fantastic! Watching our 5 grandsons (ages 14 through 21) play football on the beach from the deck every afternoon was a highlight. Nightly games & movies added to the experience. Of course, visits to Fort Gaines, the Bird Sanctuary, the aquarium, the Shell mounds, etc, are a must. [Unfortunately, fog kept us from making our annual trip across Mobile Bay on the ferry.]There is no better place to experience a family Christmas than Dauphin Island!
