Excellent place to stay!

The owners were very welcoming and accommodating. Ron even snowplowed the driveway for us. The kitchen was fully stocked, they thought of everything! The house was very clean and plenty for our family of eight to do. The communication was excellent and you can tell they take great care in providing a fantastic experience in the North Woods.

We enjoyed our stay at the Wolf Den, and it met all of our expectations and needs. Very clean. Ann and Ron were gracious hosts, and were very easy to communicate with. We appreciated use of the garage for our vehicles and bikes. It was a perfect home base for riding in the Chequamegon 40 Mountain Bike Race.

This property was perfect for our friends motorcycle get away. It was very clean and well stocked with the extras. The electricity went out during a storm and they were on top of notifying the electric company. Also a tree came down in the storm that blocked our driveway and they were quick to come and remove it for us! Would definitely recommend this place as we would come to stay here again!

Back again for a bike race on the CAMBA trailsystem. Clean, comfortable, and the hosts have thought of everything. Very highly recommended!

We booked our lodging in the Hayward area for a (4) night stay 5/19-5/23 2025. We wanted a place close to the ATV trails that had the amenities we were looking for. We picked the perfect place in booking with the “Wolf Den”. Just a short distance outside of Hayward Wisconsin, the Wolf Den is located in the country on a private road that is quiet & secluded with plenty of room for parking with trailers. The house had plenty of room for (2) couples & could accommodate even more. The first thing we noticed while checking in was it was well appointed and very clean. Out on the deck was a propane grill which we used after a full day of riding the trails. Everything we needed was available to us. During our stay we observed Deer, Turkey’s, and grouse. We had a question on our first day and our host responded immediately. We were extremely happy with our stay here and we are already discussing our next trip. You won’t be disappointed staying at the “Wolf Den”.

This property worked great for us. Plenty of beds, close to Hayward and lots of activities for some of us that didn’t ski the race.

We stayed at the Wolf Den and went atv riding for 2 days. The location is excellent as we rode right from the property to the trails. We had a great time and will definitely keep it on our list for next time!

The property is absolutely wonderful. Vey well appointed, lots of room wonderful home for a family get away. I can not say enough about this wonderful property. This property is so nice we came back for a second year. A first for us! Thank you.

The Wolf Den was an absolutely perfect spot for us. It’s close enough to everything to make it convenient but also far enough away to make it nice and peaceful. Would recommend and revisit 100%

We loved staying at the Wolf Den! The owners truly thought of everything a group could need for enjoying time together. They furnished the house with puzzles, games, etc., and even included thoughtful little things like water bottles on the nightstands beside each bed. The house is spacious yet cozy at the same time. A wonderful place to stay!!

we had a wonderful stay at the Wolf Den. Everything was exceptional. the house was fully stocked with Everything you could ever need or think of. kitchen was fully stocked, plenty of movies, games, pool table was a major hit, projector was great, darts were fun, plenty of space to hangout together or space to be alone, loved the singing deer in the basement...nothing was missed. thanks for thinking of Everything!!! definitely worth it!!

Great house to stay in.

Very clean, host has thought of everything. Perfect base camp for biking in the CAMBA trails.

We had a fantastic stay at The Wolf Den. We appreciated the use of the garage as we have several potentially severe storms roll through during our stay. Ann was nice enough to keep us informed of the incoming weather just in case we weren't aware. The driveway was easy to maneuver and park the boat. The house is incredibly well equipped, unlike some others we have stayed at. The amount of spices and cookware was incredible. The game room in the basement was great and the puzzles and games provided were nice due to the rainy weather we had during our stay. The guys got to go fishing and the ladies had some great down time to decompress from several stressful months. Ann was very easy to work with and responded promptly to any questions we had. We plan on returning for our annual fishing trips and hope to bring the Girl's Trip to The Wolf Den in 2025.
