The Tanglewood Beach House

We absolutely love the Parksville area and gravitate to Tanglewood for accommodations when we visit the Island. This unit is absolutely incredible, possibly the best appointed of all that we have stayed in (and that has been quite a few)! Everything was so clean, beds so comfortable, even the chairs and sofa invite you to sit for a much longer period of time than you plan. A little funny for you.....there is SO many things in the kitchen that it took me a while to find the can opener so if you're looking for that - it's in the drawer to the left of the sink ;) Anyway, this will DEFINITELY be our first choice if we travel without our puppies again!! xo

Excellent quiet and comfortable beach house in a lovelyresort complex. Kitchen and condo is well stocked witheverything you may need. Shelley is caring host who is easy to communicate with, and quick to assist if needed.Highly recommended.

Shelley has a wonderful two bedroom property that is well-equipped with everything you need. Comfortable beds and linens, kitchen is organized with all the things we looked for (corkscrew, garlic presses, lobster crackers, ramekins… to name a few!) and communication was quick and easy, highly recommend - we will definitely be back!

Everything was perfect!

We had a fantastic time during our stay at Shelley’s lovely home in Parksville. The home was beautifully decorated and exceptionally clean, providing everything our family needed for a comfortable stay. One of the highlights was watching the local wildlife in the mornings, from bunnies to deer, right from our windows. The location was perfect, with a short walk to Rathtrevor Beach. We appreciated the beach toys and cart provided, which made our beach trips even more enjoyable. Overall, this home offered both convenience and charm, making our vacation truly memorable. Highly recommend!

Tanglewood Beach House was great. Very well equipped with everything for a great trip to Parksville and our favourite beach.

We were so delighted with our stay at the Beach House. It was perfect in size and location. The owner has created a serene and comfortable living space. We really appreciated the well equipped kitchen. It made our Parksville stay exceptional.

The house was absolutely awesome. It was so clean and equipped with everything you might need, starting with the super soft towels, the many kitchen utensils and the various beach toys. We had a great time and would love to come back someday. Thank you Shelley for making our stay such a great experience.

My husband and son stayed a week at this well stocked terrific condo. The location, layout, furnishings and attention to detail made for a fabulous time. Tanglewood is a favourite of ours to stay at, and this was a favourite unit. We will be back!

We stayed 19 days in June and July at the Tanglewood Condo. the Condo is fully stocked and conveniently located for Rathtrevor beach. We enjoyed the fact that we could spend time on the beach and then escape elements and relax at the Condo, a short 5 minutes from the beach. We stayed with 2 children age 10 and 2 and I have to say they loved the experience. When we were not at the beach they were playing in the green area at the back of the Condo. they loved the daily visits by the local deer and rabbits. My children will never forget this experience. Highly recommend this condo for young families wanting to relax and let the kids play. thank you and we will be back.
