Stayed Jan 1, 1This is the fourth time we have stayed at The Sidings. It is a spacious and comfortable cottage and easy to keep warm in the Winter. However this time we were very disappointed that the TV in the front room wasn't working properly and the DVD player was missing. Also the kitchen is starting to look very tired. The latter doesn't matter so much but in the Winter you do need a TV that you can watch. We ended up watching on my iPad!

Stayed Jan 1, 1As far as location and cleanliness are concerned the bungalow was very good. The parking available was excellent especially for more than one car. It would have helped to have clearer instructions about how things worked e.g. needing two remote controls for the tv. A little more crockery and glasses would have been nice. Luckily we discovered the freezer on our last visit otherwise it would have been a mystery!

Stayed Jan 1, 1This property is a definite must foe anyone looking to stay in Sheringham, ample space, very clean and tidy, laze in the back garden and watch the steam train on the Poppy line pass by. A five minute walk will get you to the bus station where you can catch the bus and explore Cromer or Wells. If staying at home is your thing there is nothing that you will need that is not already supplied by the owners of this superb property.

Stayed Jan 1, 1Lovely property in a nice location. Nice to not be overlooked and just far enough away from town centre that can't hear noise from carnival.

Stayed Jan 1, 1We had a lovely stay at the Sidings. The bungalow had everything we could want. The garden was lovely to sit in ,an extra bonus was the steam trains going by. It was an easy walk to the town. I have stayed in Sheringham many times, this was one of the best properties. Would love to stay again.

Stayed Jan 1, 1We had another lovely stay at this really nice bungalow. It is perfect for all the family including our little dog. The location is very close to all amenities. The garden is great to sit in the sun & watch the steam trains go by. A fab holiday for all.

Stayed Jan 1, 1Spacious, clean, well-appointed and a fabulous location within easy reach of town and beach. We met the owners and they are lovely people who are on hand nearby to solve any problems (we had a small issue with the television). A few reservations: the cooker hood over the kitchen island is a liability if you spend any length of time cooking on the hob. And there could be a better set of kitchen knives and a few more serving bowls. Otherwise, a lovely holiday home which we plan to revisit.

Stayed Jan 1, 1Lovely holiday again. Ideal place to stay being just off the main busy area. The trains going by at the bottom of the garden are brilliant to watch. Great bungalow in best setting to be near main entertainment but in a quieter area.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969Our 3rd time at The Sidings and it still is the best accommodation and location for us - so much so that we have already booked for next Spring. After really very heavy winds the Freesat reception wasn’t very true but after reporting to Keyes a new replacement disc appeared very very quickly. So thank you to very caring owners.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969Overall an average stay but we are sorry to say but some Attention to detail required for cleaning in certain areas ie shower cubicle this was an issue last year when we stayed and did bring this up with the owners, needs steam cleaning to get rid of scale with dirt attached, did not look pleasant, cooker hood, dusty able to write on this, kettle desperate for descaling or even renewing due to some rust. Bedding/towels immaculate. Maintenance - shower screen in main bathroom, rubber at the bottom covered in scale, takes 2 mins to renew, Location good, garden great with trains passing by, beds comfortable.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969This was our third trip to the Sidings and the accommodation never fails to impress. The welcome gifts for both humans and doggy visitors are most appreciated. Our friend was so impressed that she is going to recommend the bungalow to her daughters who both have dogs. Our hosts are obviously dog lovers who also enjoy providing an excellent property for humans too !

Stayed Dec 31, 1969An excellent holiday home, well equipped, clean and comfortable, backing onto the stream railway line so you can sit on the patio in the sun and watch traims go by. A short walk to town and both heritage and national rail stations. Fuel station and convenience store a stones throw away. A nice selection of welcome goodies for you and your dog. Loads of off road parking is a big advantage.
