Our Casa Azul, with nordic boho-chic decor, is situated in Sarasota’s charming neighborhood of South Poinsettia Park. The home peaceful setting is a perfect place to relax. Siesta Village and Downtown Sarasota and all its restaurants, bars, and shops are just minutes away. Plus 3 beautiful beaches - including #1 rated Siesta Key Beach - are only a 8-min ride away! We love to entertain and to make ALL our guests feel at home.

Welcome to Casa Azul - a contemporary stay near beaches and downtown! Combined with its sister property Casa Macademia Getaway, both units make up Siesta Getaways and sleep up to 16 (8 in each property).


The Space

The property is in a great location with easy access to all of the wonderful amenities Sarasota has to offer. Our Getaway has a comfortable living room to relax and unwind, spacious bedrooms to sleep in, an outdoor patio with seating, and a BBQ for the nights you would like to eat in. The house is newly renovated with all new finishes, appliances, and furniture. Like to fish Our house is less than a 3-min walk from the bay, and don`t worry about those beach towels, umbrella, cooler, and beach chairs...we`ve provided those items as well, to ensure your stay with us is as convenient as possible.

In order to provide an enhanced experience, we go above and beyond the industry standards for our cleanings. To ensure a safe and quality stay to you and your guests, we have permanently adopted CDC cleaning guidelines to comply with COVID-19. A quality control check is performed prior to your arrival.

Casa Azul Getaway can accommodate up to 8 guests with bedding configuration as follows:

Bedroom#1: King Bed (1) - Sleeps 2
Bedroom#2: Bunk Bed (King + Twin) (1) - Sleeps 3
Bedroom#3: Queen Bed (1) - Sleeps 2

Local regulations require this property to be reserved for a minimum of seven (7) consecutive nights. As a certified vacation rental, we are required to comply with this regulation.

FAMILY FRIENDLY PROPERTY: Children and infants are more than welcome, but each one must be specified on your reservation. Every person in your group must be included in the guest numbers. Just to clarify: an infant is a person, a baby is a person, a toddler is a person, and a child is a person.

GUEST ACKNOWLEDGES HOSTS RIGHTS: The host has the right to know who the primary guest is that’s checking into the host’s property. If the primary guest posts a profile picture of an avatar, a cartoon character, an animal, or anything other than a face shot, the host reserves the right to cancel the reservation without penalty at any time prior to check-in.

NO 3RD PARTY RESERVATIONS: No reservations are allowed for another party if you are not staying at the property yourself.

MAXIMUM NUMBER OF GUESTS: Limit for occupancy as stated on property listing. FOR ADDITIONAL GUESTS, PLEASE INQUIRE. Capacity varies per property.

NON-REGISTERED GUESTS: No overnight visitors not listed on the reservation. You may inquire about overnight guests after your reservation, shall the number of guests be different than when you originally booked. Overnight guests staying without host permission, will incur $25 nightly rate charges for each additional guest per night. Additionally, a penalty fee of $500 for lack of notifying the host. Occupancy above property listed capacity, unless otherwise approved by the host, will incur a $1000 penalty fee.

PURPOSE AND AGE REQUIREMENTS: This rental property is for individual and family vacations and business-related stays only: The host gladly rents to families or responsible adults over the age of 25 years old. The host has a “No-Group” Policy, which includes but is not limited to the following: school, spring break, prom, graduation, sororities, fraternities, or wedding receptions.

SELF CHECK-IN: This is a self-check-in property. You will receive instructions by email and check-in instructions are posted online in the house manual. You certify that you are willing, able, and capable of self-check-in.

NO SMOKING/VAPING OR PARTIES ON THE PROPERTY.

PETS: Upon direct request inquiry and approval only. Pet cleaning fee $300 non-refundable applies. 1 (one) pet up to 25lbs only. Guest is responsible for his/her pet and any damages incurred cause by the pet will incur additional charges as required to repair and/or replace damages.

POOL SAFETY: Applicable for property with pool. All guests are free to use and enjoy the pool located on property. Guests are NOT PERMITTED to use glass cups or dish ware in or around the pool and backyard area. NO GLASS CUPS, BOTTLES (INCLUDES BEER BOTTLES, WINE BOTTLES, ETC), PLATES OF ANY KIND. In the event broken glass is found in or around the pool or backyard area, guests will be subjected to a $1000 fee for pool cleaning and refill and/or ground and furniture cleaning. Additionally, ALL guests are responsible for child safety while on premises. For safety prevention ensure that safety locks provided on exterior doors and fence doors are secured when not using the backyard.

HEATED POOL: Applicable for property with pool. Pool is heated to 84F from November 15th - April 15th. Pool heat is operational during the filter pump duration period - typically from 9am-7pm. Pool may be heated outside these calendar periods for an additional $200/week.

GUESTS RESIDING WITHIN 50 MILES: Locals must first inquire to stay before instant booking.

ADD-ON DAYS: Any length-of-stay discounts that may be offered are on a per booking basis. They do not accumulate and will not be applied to future bookings or add-on days.

GOOD FAITH: You agree that you are booking in good faith and you will not attempt to damage your host’s business, reputation, or retaliate in any way because you are unhappy with a ruling with respect to the house rules.

PARKING: Included with the property is driveway parking for 3 vehicles. There is no on-site vehicle maintenance or washing allowed except for emergency tire changing, emergency jump-starting, and towing.

QUIET HOURS: This host wants you to relax and enjoy your stay and also wants you to be mindful of not disrupting the neighbors. With that said, in accordance with the City of Sarasota’s noise ordinance we ask that you respect the quiet hours of 9 PM to 7 AM.

HOUSE CLEANING: Guests who are staying with us for more than 14 days will incur an additional $120 cleaning charge per week starting the second week of their stay.

Please follow the house rules, leave the items you found in the house there when you check out, and you will NOT have any additional fees. This host does NOT want to charge extra fees because they have a negative impact on the guest experience. They only exist to cover any loss or extra expense associated with a guest(s) stay.

EASILY AVOIDABLE Extra Fees:
$1000 smoking/vaping fee - No Smoking/vaping property
$1000 pet fee penalty for no notice to host (if you are found out to have a pet on-premise during your stay which was not authorized by the host, you will incur this charge)
$25 per day for each overnight guest not listed on your reservation

$1000 penalty fee for unapproved occupancy above property listed capacity, unless otherwise approved by the host.

    There was a little glitch with the plumbing, but Dominic and his wife were on it immediately. The home was clean, neat, convenient to all shopping and most of all we felt safe. I was fortunate to meet Dominic and his wife and this young couple make me feel there is a successful country in our future.

    First of all Dominick is a great host and made sure the check in process felt like you were just going “home” what a great way to start off the vacation.. the home is way bigger than it appears… the home is modern fresh and extremely spacious…the wrap around driveway makes it extremely easy to exit onto the street.. the neighborhood is exceptional.. my wife and I went on a morning walk each morning and it was amazing.. the location is an extremely easy drive to siesta beach as well as to lido key which is where the second St. Armand’s circle is… its a 10 minute drive to each and it made the Sarasota experience that much better..there are grocery stores and great restaurants within 1 to 5 minutes of the home.. so easy to buy groceries as well as staying in the neighborhood to go to great restaurants… visit the casa masa taco restaurant 2 minutes away … THE MOST incredible tacos !! I had my wife and 3 kids on the trip 19 14 and 13 years old … never bumping into each other in the home… select this home immediately if available

    Reni and Dom are super hosts- and that is a perfect way to describe them. They are friendly and generous with their time and advice. The house at 1635 Siesta Drive is well appointed and well equipped. It is a short drive to the beautiful Siesta Beach and is equally accessible to all that downtown Sarasota offers.

    The house was very clean and comfortable for our group of 9 including an infant. Location was great and the hosts were attentive and communicative. The only set back was that the dishwasher was broken during our stay.

    My husband and I were extremely impressed with this property. It was beautifully decorated, very clean, and provided us with everything we needed both inside the home as well as everything needed for the beach. It is centrally located which made visiting beaches as well as other areas of interest quite accessible. We would rent again!
