Over good place. When we arrived there was an excessive amount of flies all over the doors and windows. I was able to contact the owner of the property and we discussed it. We were there mainly for hiking and sight seeing so all we needed was a place to wash up and sleep. Over all good place. 4.5 out of 5 is what I would rate it if I can.

Such a peaceful place. Quiet despite nearby trains, you can't really hear them inside. Comfortable living spaces and beds, large kitchen, nice deck. Definitely would stay here again!!

Nice quiet little space tucked away from the city. It provided the perfect base camp for our adventures.

This location was nice for us since it is away from the main areas but close enough to get to everything. Beds were comfortable. Kitchen was well stocked. My only recommendation would be to put pavers or a sidewalk from the drive to the deck. It wasn’t great walking through wet grass every day.

A nice old house, that is far enough away from Duluth that you feel like you are away from the hustle and bustle, yet close enough that you can be in downtown Duluth about 15 minutes. The house is surrounded by trees and a large green grass and wildflower covered acreage. The air conditioning is robust and kept the house as cool as we wanted it to be. A great place to stay if you want to experience, Duluth, and yet be away.

Great location and a cozy place! Easy drive to nearby hikes/Duluth/attractions. Our group of 5 also had fun watching freight trains pass (did not disturb sleep)!

We stayed at this property over Labor Day weekend for a family wedding and reunion. The house was well-appointed and had all the essentials. The property is beautiful and well taken care of. It was an easy drive to Duluth. We would definitely stay again.

We loved staying here! It was perfect for being close enough to everything, while having more privacy than at a hotel. There is a train nearby, but you can barely hear it when inside the house. The beds are comfy and it’s a great deal!

Perfect location if you want to be secluded but nearby the city at the same time. Short drive to many interesting sightseeing along the Lake Superior. Very comfortable house with everything you need. Highly recommend.
