Stayed Mar 20, 2021We had an amazing time at The Respite. Perfect anniversary stay, walked to an fabulous dinner downtown. Wonderful room and breakfast was delicious.

Stayed Jan 3, 2021The Respite is simply amazing. Our room was spacious and very clean. The bed was more comfortable than the one I sleep on at home. The house is just gorgeous and so peaceful and relaxing. Shelley is a wonderful host and knows all about the Paducah area. She made a great breakfast at the house, but we choose to use the breakfast vouchers to sample the local spots. The Gold Rush Cafe has a tremendous breakfast. I highly recommend the bread pudding waffles and biscuits n gravy. The B&B is in a perfect location, walking distance to the river and downtown. Will definitely plan another stay at The Respite!

Stayed Jul 14, 2025Staff was informative and friendly. Breakfast was great and choice of in house breakfast and passes was unique. Everything was clean…rooms were spacious and well stocked. The area was activity.filled. We went to museums, stores and galleries. Everything was in walking distance. Also there are a variety of restaurants we enjoyed. All in all, Paducah was a charming, hospitable place to visit.

Stayed Apr 4, 2025This was a very nice place to stay! Very clean with lots of amenities. My only criticism is not actually with the property, but with the recomended breakfast place Gold Rush there in downtown. I'd recomend giving a food voucher somewhere else. Otherwise we had a great experiwnce in paducah and would certainly stay again

Stayed Jul 20, 2024The Air was SET at 72 degrees. This was entirely too warm for us. We were not happy with not being able to control the room temperature. Everything else was very nice. I might consider staying again in the cooler months. Never again in the summer.

Stayed Apr 11, 2024We stayed in room 5 as a group of 3 adult women and it was so roomy and perfect for us. Room to lounge, comfy beds, large bathroom with double sinks and humongous walk in closet for all of our luggage. Breakfast was great and our conversations with Shelley were so fun!

Stayed Apr 24, 2023Our stay was perfect. The Respite B&B is absolutely beautiful. Our room was very spacious and the beds were so comfortable, we all slept like babies. We also enjoyed having our morning coffee or our evening wine out on the balcony. In all the years we have been coming to the Quilt Show this is by far the nicest place that we have stayed. Check this place out you will not be disappointed!!!

Stayed Mar 20, 2023The room was beautiful. Very quiet, the neighborhood was nice. Location was great, walking distance to many things, unfortunately the weather didn’t allow us much walking. We opted for breakfast in house both mornings. It was very nice and we loved visiting with our hostess. Paducah is a friendly city. Would def stay here again
