The ResidenZ at Bavarian Inn - Historic Estate located in downtown Frankenmuth

what i didnt like was that a campur could park righjt out out window on one side..the other side the parked car facing our living room window , at night, we couldn't draw the big curtains!

Wow! Definitely worth staying here. I have been going to the Bavariann Inn for over 10 years and decided to try the house out for a new experience. House was huge and the bedrooms are tucked away upstairs and downstairs so everyone has Toms of space. 2 big living rooms & plenty of places to spread out. We had a party of 4 but I definitely see how 16 people could have fit in here

Second time at the house for our family of 15. The space is ideal for us (sleeping/cooking/eating/game playing) and we love that it’s close to the water park. One suggestion to make it better would be to have more kitchen towels, paper towel, and kitchen counter spray. It was hard to clean up without essentials.

The ResidenZ at Bavarian Inn was a perfect place for my siblings and me to have a mini family reunion. Check-in was a breeze. There were 11 of us, all adults, and we found the home to be comfortable, spacious and met all our needs. We were there for 4 nights and had most of our meals at the residence. We brought a lot of prepared meals that just needed to be heated in the oven, but the kitchen was well-equipped. There was enough dinnerware and flatware for probably 20 to 25 people. The three king bedrooms and two double queens were just right for our particular family of three couples, two singles, and a family of three. Not every bedroom had an attached bathroom, but there were 5 full bathrooms overall. We had plenty of room to spread out in two living areas downstairs, plus a sitting area upstairs in the loft overlooking the dining room. The location is great for its walkability. Within minutes, you can be in the heart of Frankenmuth with abundant shops and restaurants and a walking path along the river. It's a very cute Bavarianesque town with gorgeous flower beds everywhere. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Great property. Outdoor area was perfect for our grandchildren to play. Space in the house was perfect for everyone to enjoy.

the Residenz is a perfect place to stay when visiting Frankenmuth with a large group. The house is extremely clean and well stocked. We enjoyed dinners at the massive dining room table and spent the evenings out by the fire pit. The house is right next to the Bavarian Inn so easy to enjoy their amenities (add'l cost). We stayed over 4th of July weekend and had the perfect view for fireworks! We would definitely recommend this home for your next group visit!

Our family was attending a wedding in Flushing MI and we needed a large home for our stay. The house was beautiful and well equipped. We enjoyed 2 nights together. Since the weather was perfect, we decided to take some family photos in the large yard.PROs: Size, location, cleanliness, ability to accommodate large groups, nicely decorated, primary suite located on the first floor. Great views from the porch overlooking a large yard and field across the street. The property owner was responsive and allowed us to check-in an hour early which we appreciated. It was within walking distance to the local shops and fairly close to Flint airport to pickup guests.CONs: Our guests noticed a slight smell of mildew or gas (walking in through the back door). We assumed it was a stale smell from being closed-up or possibly a pilot. Unfortunately the windows did not have screens, so we were unable to air out the back room. Also, it was a bit expensive once the additional cleaning & service fees were added-on, along with required insurance.

We came with our children and grandchildren to go to the waterpark. This house was perfect instead of individual hotel rooms. It gave us the areas we needed to visit together when we were not at the waterpark.

The bridal party and family all stayed together before and after the wedding. Great place to get ready.

We rented this property for our annual cousin's NYE vacation. We are four families of four with kids ranging from 6 y.o. to 14 y.o. This is our second year staying at the house, and we just love it. Lots of large spaces for us to gather and be together, as well as plenty of private and sleeping places to get away to. Great location close to downtown Frankenmuth (directly behind River Place Shops). We spent a day at Splash Village Waterpark and then another day playing and shopping at the Bavarian Inn. Highly recommend for large family gatherings!

We had a wonderful family vacation in Frankenmuth. This property was perfect for our group of 12. Great location within walking distance to plenty of restaurants and shops. Home was very clean and beds very comfortable.

This home is absolutely stunning! Everything was perfect and the attention to detail was absolutely noticed. From the 2 decorated xmas trees to each bedroom having a fan and individual air units available for use. We brought all 3 of our adult children and their spouses in for the holidays. Everyone had their own bedroom and bathroom. They loved it so much, they have asked if we can make it a tradition.

We were amazed at the spaciousness of this home. The 2 gathering areas were perfect for our group and provided breakoff areas for small groups to gather. The bedrooms were spacious and the beds were very comfortable. We would definitely return to this home.

Very nice property. Kitchen a bit dated but all the essentials. Overall an excellent stay.

This property is close to everything so we could walk to town. The home was perfect for our family, 8 gathered here and everyone had comfortable rooms, great privacy. Downstairs 2 bedrooms were a little warm but otherwise perfect. We had 2 who loved cooking so for our 5 day stay we enjoyed family meals.The Christmas Trees were gorgeous! We met 25 extended family in town for Thanksgiving dinner. Everyone is eager to do it again!

We decided to head to Frankenmuth to celebrate our mom/grandma’s 90th birthday! This house was perfect! When she needed to rest - there was a beautiful master bedroom just a few feet away. When it was time to eat? There was a beautiful large table for everyone to gather! And - all of the family could explore Frankenmuth whenever they wanted. This is a beautiful gathering place. Our stay at the Residenz was amazing! The house, and all of its details, is truly incredible. If you have stayed at the Bavarian Inn lodge they have carried over the charm to this house. We had a group of 12 and fit comfortably. The house is stocked with everything you could need. The owners were very responsive. Our group cannot wait for a return trip!

We had such a wonderful experience at the property! We loved having the space to spread out, and enjoyed the amenities, like croquet! The property is highly walkable and we cannot wait to return.

The property was so amazing that we decided to eat in both nights because of the beautiful dining room. We watched movies in the cozy family room. The massive primary bedroom was fit for a king. I will recommend this property to family and friends.

This is our second year staying here for our girls weekend trip and as always it was perfect! Easy to check in, so clean and the hosts are easy to get ahold of if we ever need anything. We have already booked our next years trip!

We had a fun time visiting with Family. They loved the ability to walk downtown. Called about wall unit A/C not working, a Maintenance person showed up and fixed it promptly. The swing set is aging ,but the young ones enjoyed it. House is beautiful. We highly recommend it for family gatherings.
