The Red Harbor: Retreat/Refresh/Rekindle

This is an exceptional and centrally located Orcas property. The backyard is a private oasis and the upstairs spacious deck is perfect for watching the unparalleled sunsets. The home is thoughtfully appointed for comfort and entertaining, with cookware and a modern, very chef-friendly kitchen, large, separate bedrooms with comfortable bed/bedding, and a cozy living/dining area. making it easy to accommodate family. The location is perfect - a two-minute walk to the beach and 4-minute drive to town. I could not recommend this property more.

What a wonderful stay with so many thoughtful accommodations all throughout the house - from nightlights to a double-walled French press! The house is just a short walk from the beach, with views of the water from the primary bedroom balcony. A lovely, cozy, quaint getaway that’s also walkable to the downtown shops and restaurants. The hot tub and fire pits were a welcomed bonus, and they generously provided a bundle of firewood for us. Joy was also very generous with check-in/check-out times to accommodate our ferry times and toddler naps. We would absolutely stay again!

Lovely place for our family. My elderly mom took the room downstairs so she could access the main area and hang out with us when we were in the backyard. My teen girls shared the bunk bed and my husband and I shared the large master bed. Loved the thoughtful touches too.

House is well appointed. Kitchen is large and has all the right stuff. We were disappointed with spending what felt like top dollar for a side street house. It was weird having a ring camera pointed directly at the hot tub.

Had a great stay! Property manager was super responsive. Kitchen was very well stocked with pots, pans, dishes and utensils. Great selection of games and puzzles. Hot tub worked great. Short walk to North Beach and wonderful sunsets/sunrises. Minor hiccups with WiFi so had to reboot router multiple times. Bathrooms were clean, a little musty, but functional. Everyone in my group was comfortable and had a great time.

So fun and a great set up for our family trip. All adults, but had a good set up. Host was so helpful and was quick with answers to questions! Thanks for a great stay!

We loved the place and would be thrilled to rent it again if make it back to orcas island. Good communication from the owner, very smooth check in and the house is well stocked and in great condition. Very smooth process

We chose Orcas b/c my husband and I got acquainted there over 40 years and our daughters wanted to take him whale watching for his 70 birthday so, what better way to go? The house was perfect for us. The grands loved the hot tub and having a fire in the fire pot. The location to the beach is a short 5-10 minute walk. We had fun finding and looking at the baby starfish, crab and hermit crabs among the rocks. The house is in a great location. Nice neighborhood, close to downtown Eastsound, not far from Mt Constitution and Buck Bay. Joy was wonderful to work with. She was quick to respond to our questions and gave great sightseeing and food tips. We would stay again in a heartbeat!

My whole family was comfy and slept great. Access to beach and town was fabulous, house offered exactly what was advertised and host was responsive and kind. My husband said he felt we had found a hidden gem. We love Orcas and had a great visit, thank you!!

This is the perfect home for our family to have a nice long weekend to relax. The kitchen was the perfect size and had everything we needed. The hot tub was a hit with the littles and adults. The beds were so comfortable, my youngest (7) said “it’s like a cloud hugging you and rocking you to sleep”. A short walk to the beach to watch the sunrise set and a cup of coffee in bed to watch the sun rise.Although we were there during the off season we had plenty to do inside with all the games that were provided in the home! Joy was an absolutely gracious host! Her beautiful home served not only as the staging area for a Healing Retreat held just down the road at Camp Orkila, but as reprieve after emotionally powered engagements. The space was not only beautiful and serene, but a very short walk to my favorite place on the entire island! Joy was so incredibly accommodating and everything was beyond what I could've expected. I found myself feeling at home, along with the others staying here. The beds and the space were EXACTLY what we needed! The energy in this home is so positively vibrational! Great location and plenty of room for 6 adults. Host was very accomodating for an early check in to match up with out ferry arrival.

House is a perfect location to the beach and watch amazing sunsets. Gave great recommendations for hikes and restaurants.
