This cabin has a lot of potential but missed the mark on essentials. Small tweaks can improve the experience for guests. As a guest, prepare to bring everything with you. The dishes look like they’re a collection of items that have been left behind from past guests. Some even still had food on them. Wash EVERYTHING before use. Knives were beyond dull which was really odd being the Drew Berrymore brand isn’t old. It would be nice to have some white/brighter lighting in the kitchen. Even with the lights on, we used our cell phone flashlight. The lights/fans in the primary room & living room didn’t work. (Luckily there’s an abundance of lamps but there may be an electrical issue that needs to be addressed) The bed in the primary room on the main level was sunken in towards the middle. Needs support underneath or new mattresses. The bedding on the twin rooms was dirty. The shower curtain needs to be replaced in the upper restroom (pretty gross). Update the house notes/folder. For example: The hot tub which seems to be on a breaker of its own, tripped the breaker every 5 minutes. Heating throughout the house is hit/miss because there’s one thermostat that only heats the main level. The folder mentions multiple thermostats. It’s FREEZING downstairs and no clear instructions on how to stay warm. The electric fireplace (timed) didn’t stay on nor is it powerful enough. There is a number to call for firewood, however they no longer offer that. But, perfect size for a large group.

Loved it!! It was a beautiful house and we enjoyed our stay. The furniture was comfortable and lovely (except for one of the queen beds). Our complaints: The lower level wasn't heated so we could not enjoy the bottom level which had the game tables and 2 bedrooms. I also wished the master bedroom door wasn't glass (or that it had a curtain) because if the lights were on--on the mail level--the brightness comes right into the master bedroom.

The property was just as described. The only suggestion is that they do some clean up of the outside, it needs a little curb appeal. The interior is very nice. We would stay there again.

No need to reiterate poor reviews, which are honest, but will add that now the roof is leaking, might be due to the roof shingles lying around the foundation, the evergreen is overwhelming the fire pit, and the view to the lake is obstructed by trees. But there were lots of deer.

We had a fabulous time at the Quarterdeck! We were able to spread out and enjoy time in small groups and gather together in the main room, on the deck and enjoy smores at the firepit. The 2 story windows were beautiful and the house was tastefully decorated. The only area of concern was the steps from the driveway to the house- the uneven stones and worn wood were difficult for our 82 year old mother to navigate.

We rented this property to work away from home for a week. Unfortunately, the pictures are outdated and don’t accurately reflect the property. It is run down and not kept up. Inside, the rooms had bugs all over the place. The bedding is stained and clearly hasn’t been cleaned. Outdoors, the property is a mess and not kept up. Trash is all over the place, furniture is ruined and just thrown about, and there is a beat up, rusted boat sitting in the front yard. On top of that, the grass and landscaping are not kept up either. Overall, we were very disappointed in how dirty the place was, how the property wasn’t kept up, and how the pictures do not reflect how the property currently looks.

The house is nice and BIG, that is for sure! Plenty of space for everyone. Close to Wisp Ski Resort but enough distance away from the hustle and bustle. The house has 2 master bedrooms which is fabulous. The kitchen is fully stocked with all necessities. The little decorative touches are really a nice look. I love how each bedroom had its own look and again the little decorative touches really did it! The house overall just needs a good scrub down. I was cleaning stink bugs up, wiping food or syrup or something off walls, I believe the bedding was cleaned but there were blood like markings on the bedding. I did call the rental company and sent pictures over. I ended up cleaning the bedding and putting back on the beds just in case, it made me feel gross, so I wouldn’t feel ok sleeping in the beds unless I knew for sure things were cleaned. The carpeting really is beat up there were lots of marks on the carpet, it needs a good shampooing. There were tons of light bulbs out through out the home. The lower level where the foosball table was there literally was one overhead light that worked. Needless to say the lighting down there was horrible. We got about 8” of snow over night and no one ever came to clean anything up clear a driveway nothing, I found that surprising. Good thing we had an SUV with AWD. There would be no way someone without AWD would have been able to get out. The hot tub is a nice touch and is fabulous after a day out on the slopes. I would not recommend this home for a rental to older people or anyone with mobility issues the stairs are steep, slippery. I don’t have mobility issues and had a hard time with them. Overall it was nice, it just needs minor things done and it would be FABULOUS!
