The Purple Pig OKI: 3-Bedroom Ocean View w/ a Private Pool Across from Beach

Exactly as advertised! Pet friendly and great location. Very clean house with extras that made the stay stress free, which is what you look for in a trip to the beach.

Great pet friendly property! It was so nice to see the beach from the ocean from the deck. It was a great place to enjoy coffee in the morning. Beach access was just a short walk to the right and left of the motel. A super relaxing stay, for sure!

Overall home is clean. Pool was a plus as well as location of beach. Host was quick at responding back to some minor issues. I was really expecting a home that was well kept up for the though. Just my opinion.

Absolutely wonderful beach house, short walk from the beach. My fur babies loved the big fenced in yard. The host is great!

The house is right across from the beach, wonderful views of the ocean.

Property was just as described and the hosts were great at responding! For sure would stay here again. I do recommend a storm door for the front door to let in that sunlight!

Megan, Thank you for the use of your house. Everything went well, very convenient to get to the beach. Plus thanks for arranging the wonderful weather for the week.. lol.... 75-82, plenty of sunshine, no rain (except our last evening) lead to great morning walks on the beach as well as great sunsets. Fenced in yard a plus for pets. Pool was nice to cool off in the afternoon.Favorite dinner- Shrimp, clam,& mussel boil from outerbanks boil company, easy d.i.y. picked it up (pre packed) they went over how to prepare at pickup, cooked it on the stove (aprox 40 mins), took it down to the picnic table below deck, poured it on the paper lined table and enjoyed!!

We had a wonderful time. The property was as expected and in a perfect location right across from the Oak Island Pier and public beach area. The kitchen had everything we needed. The house was clean and well organized. The pool was a delight. Communication with the owner/property manager was easy and seamless. We would rent again.

Great house with everything you need for a great trip. The view is excellent. Everything you need is within a couple of miles. Restaurant and pier right across the the street. Once you settle in, you really don’t have to get back in the car for the rest of your trip. Unless you just want to. And it’s pet friendly. A from me

What a nice beach home! The place was clean, comfortable and quiet, at least in the off season. A walk across the street let us enjoy the beach daily. The pool looked very inviting too. I definitely recommend this stay.

This property was amazing! Anything anybody could ask for was right there at the property the house is fully equipped with everything from a grill outside so dishes inside fully equipped kitchen very nice king size bed two queen beds, and a couple of bunk beds. How would Harvey recommend anyone looking to stay at Oak Island check this place out it is top notch.

My husband and I and four of our siblings stayed here! It was great location! Close to the pier and public beach access. Less than 2 minute walk to a beach access. It has 13 beds but was perfect for the 6 of us. Great backyard and outdoor area. Very conveniently located and clean! We would definitely stay here again!

Everything was perfect. Definitely would stay again.
