The Ponderosa-Gathering Tree's Deluxe Group Stay with private KING suites

The house was great for our large family reunion.

We really enjoyed staying at this property with 3 generations of family. The three separate floors gave us a chance to have some separation but also still be together in the same accommodation. The suites were huge and comfortable, and the fact that each had its own large bathroom was a really great bonus !!! Everything was very clean and updated and communication with the host was excellent !As shown in the description, the middle floor has a huge table which was great for our family to gather for meals, and it also has a game room on that level which my grandkids thoroughly enjoyed. There's a kitchen on the top level and the bottom level so there is some climbing up and down stairs to get food to the middle floor where the main dining table is. This was no problem for us at all, but if you have somebody who has difficulty with stairs it could be a challenge. Both of the kitchens were very well stocked and having a washer and dryer on both the bottom floor and top floor was also extremely helpful for our group. We really enjoyed our stay and appreciated our host.

We had a great stay! The house was very comfortable and worked perfectly for our large group of 17, with plenty of space for everyone. Both kitchens were well equipped and the house was stocked with everything we needed. There was plenty of parking, and the kids especially enjoyed the game room. We would definitely stay again.

House was great! Clean and tidy. We came with a large group, infants, kids, teens and adults- they had everything! We cooked each day, and kitchen had what was needed. Loved having the two kitchens, and grills outside! Made the work go fast. Double hot tub made it so nice to allow everyone in without being cramped. Would definitely recommend and would stay again!

Our daughter was married at Forest Highlands about 15 minutes from the house. This property had a great layout to fit our immediate family and provide a place for the bridesmaids to stay. It was a perfect set up with two kitchens and plenty of bathrooms!

Both kitchens had all the amenities required to prepare meals. Home had 3 floors and ample room enough for family of 26 guests (including children age 10-infants) to be together or to spread out. Game room and bunk room were major hits for the kids. Beds were comfortable. Furniture and TVs were good. Views from many windows were spectacular. We were in Flagstaff for a wedding; the homeowners specified that events were allowed which gave us an opportunity to host a rehearsal dinner get together for the family and a few extra local family members. I would absolutely recommend this home for a large family stay.

The home was clean and well equipped. The only downside was the amount of times we all had to go up o & down the stairs

This was a work trip for team bonding. The house was great and supplied lots of options for entertainment.

Wonderful stay with our large family. Plenty of beds. Kitchens were great to take care of our big meals. The children loved the game room and bunk room. There was a park just a short walk up the hill that we could take kids. Beautiful vacation rental.

Wonderful setup, king size beds and twins. A big plus are the bathrooms for each sleeping area. For a large group the dining area was perfect. Would stay here again!

This house was perfect gathering space for a group of 14 college friends. As we are all getting close to being 60, it was essential to have lots of bathrooms and comfortable beds. The stairs were a bit of a challenge for some. However it was great to have small gathering spots and areas for large groups. Early morning risers enjoyed coffee on the balconies and late nighters utilized the gameroom. We ended our stay with a chill Muumuus and Margaritas party at the fire pit.

We had 15 family members for a little mini vacation and thoroughly enjoyed the house. Wow! Minnny fridges in each bathroom! Wow! Air conditioning worked perfectly. Also, both Jacuzzis were excellent.

Aside from being a nice house in a great location, the management team was awesome. They communicated great with me and did lots to set me up for success. Pics and description were true to the listing. My LARGE family (with a wide range of ages) loved the space and had tons to due. Thanks again and 100% recommend.

Beautiful! The property is very well maintained and suitable for almost any event. Jacuzzis are immaculate, grounds feel private in the middle of the neighborhood, and the beds are super comfy. The only thing we wished for (besides an old-school DVD player) was an intercom system so we could ask each other to bring things up or down the stairs (our hamstrings and glutes got quite the workout, lol)! We bought a used DVD player but forgot to get a universal remote for it, so we didn't get to watch the non-streaming movies we brought with us. We left the DVD player in the game room - just in case the next guest takes the next step and leaves a remote to use with it. Happy Vacations, everyone!!

This was an absolutely amazing property! We held an association retreat here! It has multiple work spaces, huge rooms, great amenities, and two kitchens! We loved all spaces, including the huge gathering table, the game room, and the outside areas! We loved our stay and would definitely recommend!

This home was perfect for our gathering of 20 family and friends to celebrate our daughter's wedding! Plenty of space for everyone, well-stocked home and very beautiful and comfortable. The patio was the perfect place for the small wedding ceremony and dinner. The host was very easy to work with, friendly and prompt with responses.

We had a wonderful few days. We had everything that we needed to cook in the barbecue and the kitchen The fire outside was great. The play area was incredible, watching the snow fall from the rooms with fireplaces and large windows.

The location was beautiful and spacious! My mother in law is already planning to rent it out for her and her friends! Pictures didn’t do it justice! It’s was way nicer in person! Which is rare!

Everyone loved it here! Lots of room for all 22 of us. The game room was great. Communication was excellent. Highly recommend!

This was very well decorated and modern, and in a perfect location really close to NAU. We had a school choir group, and it was perfect. They had three floors, so the boys were upstairs, the girls were downstairs, and the chaperones were on the 2nd floor, which made supervision simple. Beds were comfortable, and we had plenty of space. The kids had a great time! I would only add that because there are three floors, and since neither of the two full kitchens are on the same floor as the dining room, you will be climbing up and down the stairs a lot. This was no problem for us, but if there are any accessibility concerns, this could be something to consider.

We had an amazing stay at this cozy cabin in Flagstaff! The space was clean, beautifully decorated, and equipped with everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. The location was perfect, peaceful and surrounded by nature, yet close enough to downtown for dining and shopping. We especially loved the fireplace and outdoor seating area.

This property suited our large family for a short stay. There are two sets of long stairs that were a challenge for a roaming toddler, but we were able to set up blockades. The house was perfectly clean except for some dirty dishes we pulled out to use. It would have been useful to have kleenex boxes in the bathrooms, but for the most part, the house was stocked with what we needed. The hottubs were clean and hot - a bonus. The one small issue we had was handled immediately and with a friendly attitude which was appreciated. Thanks!

We had 12 guests in town for a wedding and the property was perfect for get togethers at the family table (had 15 for dinner) and game room in the evenings. Personal space was absolutely perfect when the family was not together. Easy walk to downtown Flagstaff. Great outdoor spaces and patios!

My husband and I were looking for a space to accommodate the closest members of our family for a weekend trip that was going to double as an elopement! 26 of us stayed comfortably in this house and loved every minute of it! We ended up having the ceremony on a trail that was less than a 5 minute walk away from the house and the reception dinner outside next to the fire pit. It was perfect! All of the kids (and some adults) couldn’t get enough of the game room and the 2 kitchens made it easy to cook for everyone and bake a cake without stepping on anyone’s toes or fighting for counter space. The house felt very clean upon arrival and the hosts were very helpful with any questions we had! My only suggestion would be some twinkle lights on the bottom floor since it gets dark so quickly but It was also no issue moving our celebration inside once the sun was completely down and it was time for the curfew. Overall it was an amazing place and I would definitely recommend booking a stay here!

Place it great the mattresses and pillows were very hard so we had to buy pillows while we were here. Property host was accommodating.

Our vacation group all felt that this was the best place we have stayed at so far, and we've been to more than a few!

The Vrbo fixed nicely for our family of 25. The parking was tight (with trailers and Polaris) but we made it work. A few essentials were missing from the property (having a Vrbo in Phoenix myself) but the host promptly provided them to us. Also, a few minor flaws or repairs were needed which they were kind enough to resolve. It's a great place, close to stores and parks. We would book again!!!

The house is modern with new appliances and staffed with adequate cookware, nice towels in the bath and the beds are comfortable. The hot tub was divine. However think you should be aware of the floor plan. Know one can look at the drawings, but being there was different than I imagined. We like to cook. There was a full kitchen on the first floor and on the third floor. On the second floor is the dining room. (Granted there is a small table seating 6 on the first and third floors, but we were 14 people.) So the only table large enough to accommodate all of us was on the second floor. This meant bringing all of the food, the plates, silverware, napkins, glasses, etc. up or down a narrow stairway. And then back up or down to wash all of the items and to store the left overs in the fridge. One of the kids counted 15 steps between each level. Gets old doing this for 3 meals a day for a week. The property manager did respond promptly to texts. We used the clothes washer and dryer and they worked great. The kids loved the game room. There were lots of board games plus 3 table games to keep them amused. We saw 2 deer in the back yard and out front. Nice to wake up to that while having coffee. A previous review mentioned the interior door locks. Assume they were talking about the keypad door locks at the bottom of each staircase. We solved this problem by propping the 2 doors open with a chair. The decks were divine. Wanted to write more but out of space.
