The house is located in a gated community where the houses are on canals that go out to the Colorado River. It is ideally located on the main canal that connects to the river. It is at a fork in the canals creating a large body of water in front of the house. This makes for easier maneuvering of boats. A very large patio and huge wrap around dock make for more enjoyable outdoor living. 5mph speed in the canals make for safe swimming at the house and safe mooring for vessels. The 120' dock is

Stayed Jun 5, 2025We've been coming to the keys for years and this is now one of our favorite spots! It's perfect easy access from the river if you have a boat. The house is perfectly situated for entertaining. They did have all the amenities for cooking. Beds were fairly comfortable but definitely old. We would stay here again. It could be a great family house as well. The one down side is parking. Minimize the number of vehicles you bring!

Stayed May 15, 2025Property was clean and check in/out was easy. Property could use a remodel (probably been a couple decades). TV was small and fireplace area was really wasted space (we never stepped foot into it). Maybe convert that into another bedroom. Patio area was great and plenty of dock space! Overall it was a nice place.

Stayed Mar 6, 2025Perhaps when it was built it was fabulous. Very run down. Doors wouldn't close among other things. Climate controls wouldn't work. Had to wear coat inside most of the time. When it warmed up outside - patio was great!

Stayed Sep 25, 2024This house was awesome! It was clean, spacious, and had everything you could need for a fun week at the river. It's located in a great spot, easy access to the river and plenty of space for boats and toys. Kathy was easy to contact and very kind and accommodating. I would definitely recommend staying at the Pointe!!

Stayed Sep 5, 2024It was wonderful to enjoy all of the outdoor space at Kathy’s point location in the keys. We were able to tie up our boat to jet skis, and still have plenty of room for the kids to play on the lolly pad while we were at folks floating by. The interior was great for our mixed group during down time-kids took one living room, grandparents watched tv in another and grownups sat in the kitchen with laptops and drinks!
