Stayed Sep 23, 2025This cottage is nestled into a quiet, friendly neighborhood. The enclosed garden facing the street is full of flowers and well tended. We’ve stayed here several times. It’s an easy walk to OSF. The house is well maintained and always clean. The kitchen is adequately stocked with dishes, pots and pans. The owner is very responsive when we’ve have questions. We all enjoy this cozy home.

Stayed Aug 14, 2025We’ve been visiting Ashland at least once a year for the past 35 years. This is our favorite cottage. The location is unbeatable if you’re visiting OSF and the downtown area. We loved the secluded front yard with two separate, lovely sitting areas. The interior was clean, cozy and charming. Comfortable beds. Sweet little living room. Check-in couldn’t be easier.

Stayed Jul 3, 2025Delightful cottage immaculately maintained in a location that can’t be beat, walkable to downtown, OSF and Lithia Park. As two couples, we also appreciated having two bathrooms! Highly recommend, and hope to return next year.

Stayed May 29, 2025A lovely property that is relatively close to the theatre and shops (my 84 year old relatives had no problem). Comfortable beds, adequate kitchen, modest but comfortable living room. Beautiful front porch ideal for morning relaxation as was the four seat, umbrellaed dining table in the corner of the front yard, nicely cloistered from the quiet street by the strategic well-maintained foliage. I felt the price of the accommodation was well balanced to the quality it provided. Would definitely stay here again.

Stayed May 13, 2025We were greeted by arrangements of fresh flowers from the garden. Even though the garden is close to the street, it’s a pleasant spot to enjoy a cup of coffee, or a meal. The front porch is also a great place to hang out.We have stayed here a few times now. We eat in most of the time and find the kitchen to be well stocked in terms of equipment. Great to have a meat thermometer for instance, and a rolling pin. We particularly appreciate the location. We can walk to the food co-op, and the theater with ease. We have another trip planned for the fall and are looking forward to it. Lois is a responsive and accommodating host. No complaints only compliments for this place.

Stayed May 6, 2025This Cottage was absolutely wonderful. Located a quick 10 minute walk from the Oregon Shakespeare Festival venues in a cozy neighborhood, the grounds are quiet and private. House is well-laid out and the kitchen exceptionally well equipped. Thoughtful touches abound including games, puzzles, plenty of books. Beds were comfortable and the bathrooms well-stocked. While there were only two of us, the house would easily accommodate six guests without feeling cramped or that you were on top of each other. The front porch and private front yard were serene and inviting. We were in Ashland to see shows at OSF and were able to walk everywhere we wanted to go. Lois is a wonderful host and I was grateful we had the chance to meet in person. This cottage was perfect for our stay. Thank you, Lois!

Stayed Apr 24, 2025We really enjoyed our stay at the Central Avenue Cottage. Such a comfortable home - private, clean and very well appointed. The weather wasn’t super but had it been better we would have really enjoyed being outside. This was a great place for 2 couples. We have come to OSF for many years and this is definitely one of the best places we’ve stayed.

Stayed Aug 13, 2024Our third stay in this Ashland cottage. A comfortable, well appointed home in a great location just a few blocks from downtown Ashland. Perfect place for walking to the theater, hiking or biking the park and watershed, or just visiting local restaurants. In a very cute, quiet neighborhood with a lovely landscaped private yard that made outdoor dining a pleasure. We have been going to Ashland since 1992, and this is by far our favorite place to stay.

Stayed Aug 7, 2024We stayed at Central Avenue Cottage for 5 nights and could have happily stayed longer. It's a delightful house with quiet efficient air conditioning! I say this because it was HOT while we were there and it was always comfortable inside. The beds are comfortable, kitchen well supplied, and other amenities were perfect. We enjoyed barbecuing one evening and often sat outside on the chairs on the front porch. Lois was very responsive every time we had questions. I hope it will be available when we return to Ashland next year!
