As much as we'd like to, we cannot accommodate puppies under the age of one year old.
My buddy and I decided on a last minute Christmas getaway to the mountains. The trick being that between us we have 3 German Shepherds. Despite many dog friendly listings, most had size limits and all had a 2 dog limit. I messaged half of a dozen hosts, but Lisa was the only one to respond in a timely manner. Not just timely, but affirmatively and helpfully. We were able to bring our 3 dogs. She was always quick to respond to my questions. We booked the stay easily, and she kept in touch. Lots of great information and a super easy check-in process. We got to meet her as she was at the house when we checked in. She was as friendly in person. As promised, we could barely tell someone was staying upstairs. We talked to them on our last morning, and they said they couldn't hear us either. That's important. One note: while the kitchen is spacious, it's not a full traditional kitchen. The host provides a convection oven and dual-burner hotplate. It worked for our meals, no problem. The kitchen had all the things you might need, including some extra spices and seasonings. Bring a tether for your dogs -- we did -- because it's not fenced in and the next door neighbor is unnecessarily aggressive and unfriendly. That's not uncommon in the mountains, based on my experience but if I didn't have the tethers with me, our pups wouldn't have been able to enjoy the yard. After scolding us one time when the dogs slipped out while unloading, we never heard or saw the neighbor again.
My fiancée and I stayed in the lower unit and were delighted by the cozy, warm, inviting feel of the unit along with the view of the lake and the short distance (3 minutes) to central Crestline. We definitely will be back!
Nice place. Would stay here again
Everything was amazing! The only negative is the heater is too small for the house and the bedrooms were a little chilly
I loved the cleanliness and all the modern amenities of the house. It had Wi-Fi, Smart TV. Remote control Air and heating, yet it had a rustic charm. The view of lake Gregory was stunning and the serenity and the rustling of the leaves through the trees , The hooting of the owls and the feel of the crisp air at night made me feel at home. My only wish was that I could have spent more time there . Thank you Vrbo, it was the perfect match for me.
It was ok
Lisa has a cute place up in the mountains overlooking Lake Gregory. The unit was very comfortable, nice and clean. Loved the patio to sit out and drink my coffee and read. Lisa was very responsive to our calls when we had questions. Thanks for a wonderful weekend!
We loved our stay! The home was super clean! We loved how cozy it was with the fire. The master bedroom’s bed was super comfortable. The sheets were so nice! The kids loved their stay in their room. It comfortably slept 3 teens. We enjoyed the towns grocery store and restaurants. Will absolutely book again and recommend to friends!
Perfect name for this space. You are perched on a comfortable patio directly above Lake Gregory with the most incredible view! So lovely. House is charming, quiet and really easy to navigate. Recommend using duffle bag style luggage as the staircase to the front door is stepped. This was an incredible steal for the quality!
The view of the lake from the property was just serene. The unit is lovely and spacious and is pet-friendly. We did have to manually flush the toilet as the handle was broken on arrival. Outside of the toilet issue, we enjoyed a lovely, quiet, relaxing weekend. 4 stars, 5 stars minus the toilet issue.
Loved it despite the praise of the Insulation. It’s not as great as they say. It’s gorgeous and the location is impeccable!!
