The Pepper Place

The property is quite lovely. I think it had been a while since it was used so maintenance had not been done and the back seating and yard were quite unusable.There was good communication with VRBO. Minor issues were addressed.

This is a very nice place. The hosts have made it fun for a group. It was well appointed. The decor was nice. It is an older home. But it has been updated well. The neighborhood was pretty quiet, though a bit rundown. We slept on an upstairs king bed, which was firm. But comfortable over all. Nice bath products and good water pressure. The outdoor space is fun. We enjoyed the fire pit and chairs. The turf is great as well. A few of the outdoor items need updating, as the pictures are no longer accurate - like the outdoor table for instance. That area also was quite dirty. The rest of the place was wonderfully clean. The hosts were responsive, kind, and helpful. Though it does feel like this property is managed by a company rather than home owners, which is not my preference. The check in/checkout time isn't great either (though absolutely made clear in the listing). For the house alone I would book again. But for a more intimate hosting experience and more restful morning with later checkout, I would likely look elsewhere. Overall it was a good stay.

Such a fun house with all the great girly vibes! We had a girls weekend in Waco, and this house met all our needs and much more! Great location for all the downtown activities, and we especially loved the hot tub, the backyard yoga, all the curated picture spots , and the comfy beds. We’d have no hesitation booking this place for future girl weekends!

Great House

All the extras to make it a fun girls weekend-adorable cherry -terry robes. Hot tub -plenty of towels.

So much fun for our girls trip! Beds were comfy and the house had everything and more. The selfie sticks and picture perfect setups made memories. Close to the silos and food. The home was very cute and was a great place for our stay. The hosts were informative and helpful up front so much so that I didn’t need anything at all during our stay. The hot tub was fun too!(Nice to know before you go) I felt totally safe while in the home but I would mention that when we went for a walk in the neighborhood it felt a little uneasy, even in the day. My aunt went for a run later morning and also had a few unsettling moments. Just some cat calls and lingering but nothing scary. I later learned this might be typical for Waco. Just make sure you take a group out with you and don’t go out alone for your jog.

This property was lovely! Specious, well decorated and appointed, close to Baylor campus and restaurants, and communication with the property managers was great. Would definitely stay here again.

We had a girls trip to Waco and stayed at the Pepper Place. The house was very comfortable and clean. We loved our stay!

We had a blast at this fantastic find! The house was so accommodating, just what our group needed for a fabulous weekend. The details of the place are on point, would love to stay there again!

Our track team stayed here for the regional track meet. Everything was great! It was perfect for our team!

What a nice place! Our group spent one night here while in Waco for state tennis tournament and the backyard was perfect for relaxing after a long day of exciting tennis. We want to rent it again for next year! And maybe before then if we need to be in Waco!

Would stay again, bring bigger group, maybe for girls getaway
