Other things to note
Wild & wonderful isn’t just a motto here in Harpers Ferry. Bolivar and Harpers Ferry are adjacent to the national park protected wilderness area, and the wildlife hasn’t heard about property lines yet! You may see wild animals on the property during your stay. In the early morning and late afternoon, deer will stroll over from the national park to graze on our grass. Possum and raccoon will roam the alleys looking for a snack. You may even see a snake or two or a big bug. These critters are all part of our ecosystem and we treat them with respect and caution. Like the old adage says, “look but don’t touch,” but our furry friends do make pretty good photo subjects.
Had a fun weekend with Historical and Ghost Tours. Great place to stay. Wound return.
