With vintage and antique penny postcards, pages of antique newspapers recounting the Civil War, and antique novelty plates decorating the walls, our house strives to give you a real sense of place.

This stone and plaster three-bedroom, two-bath house was built in 1900, but the interior is thoroughly modern and warm and sunny. Situated of a half-acre lot, you will have access to a large green yard, an abundance of highly coveted off-street parking, and a patio dining area.

Other things to note
Wild & wonderful isn’t just a motto here in Harpers Ferry. Bolivar and Harpers Ferry are adjacent to the national park protected wilderness area, and the wildlife hasn’t heard about property lines yet! You may see wild animals on the property during your stay. In the early morning and late afternoon, deer will stroll over from the national park to graze on our grass. Possum and raccoon will roam the alleys looking for a snack. You may even see a snake or two or a big bug. These critters are all part of our ecosystem and we treat them with respect and caution. Like the old adage says, “look but don’t touch,” but our furry friends do make pretty good photo subjects.

Nice place to stay needing some additional items . Great location. Wonderful playground with 7 slides a two minute walk away. Nearest regular grocery is 9 miles away. Hilly but fun walk into Harper’s Ferry. Easy to communicate with owner.

The house is conveniently located in Bolivar which is just outside historic, Harper's Ferry. Also convenient to Harper's Ferry Historic Park and other historic locations. Nice wineries and shops to explore in close proximity to the house. House has all you need for a comfortable vacation. Many bedrooms and bathrooms. Kitchen had all the necessary appliances and utensils. Roomy living and dining spaces for gathering. Fun historical postcards reveal the character of the location. Highly recommend to anyone who loves history and a great location to spoke out and explore.

My elderly father, my brother and his wife and I stayed in this lovely house for a weekend wedding of our cousin. The property was as described, and my father who uses a rollator to walk was able to have a very accessible experience with a ground floor, en suite bedroom. Amy was very responsive and thorough, and the three mini-splits kept us very comfy. The two downstairs queen beds are exceedingly comfortable (I slept really well), and the upstairs queen beds are definitely great for kids or folks with sturdy skeletons, and adequate for folks with any aches/pains (both my brother and his wife woke up slightly sore from the night but they were overall happy with the house as well).

The property is very nice & quiet. It has 3 bedrooms & 2 bathrooms. The only problem we had was that both bathrooms are off of a bedroom. So the third bedroom can only access a bathroom by going into another bedroom. But the upstairs bedroom has two full/queen beds so we just doubled up two of us in one bedroom so we would all have access, especially in the night to a bathroom. I would recommend this place readily.
