From the fully equipped kitchen with modern appliances to the private heated swimming pool including a jacuzzi, every detail has been carefully curated to provide the ultimate in relaxation and entertainment.
The fully equipped kitchen with cooking island, double sink, double oven, freezer/refrigerator including ice maker, dishwasher, microwave, Nespresso machine, tea maker, toaster, and more, is perfect for family cookouts. Enjoy breakfast at the bar or in the breakfast nook. For those fancy dinners, there is an elevated formal dining area, seating for 8 with a parquet floor.
Step outside onto the screened-in pool area with a covered lanai to enjoy al fresco dining or soak up the Florida sunshine in style. The pool and spa offer electric heating. After a relaxing swim, you can refresh under the exterior rain shower. With multiple outdoor seating areas including a dining table with seating for up to 10, a gas BBQ, a lounge set with seating for 6, and 6 sun chaises, there is plenty of space to enjoy. The spacious garden with ornamental and fruit plants offers plenty of space to unwind and reconnect with nature.
THE PENINSULA offers 4 comfortable bedrooms, one master suite with a king bed and 3 bedrooms with queen-size beds and has a capacity for 6 people, only upon special request up to eight guests. 4 full bathrooms, each bedroom has its own associated bathroom and additionally a powder bath accessible only from the pool area. Each bedroom has a TV and additionally, there is one in the living room.
If you have to work while vacationing and need quiet, you can retreat into the fully-equipped separate office, convertible use as a nursery possible. A family TV room, a romantic fireplace, and a large loft with two sofas, seating at least 10. Here you also find a linen closet, the travel library, and yoga equipment for your enjoyment.
Furthermore, a fully equipped laundry with an oversized Bosch washer and dryer, a double garage with one parking space available in the garage, also several parking spaces in the driveway. In the garage, you will also find beach equipment. The house has fire and carbon monoxide alarms, 2 separate a/c units, one for the ground level and the second for the upper floor.
THE PENINSULA is directly on the Shamrock Lakes with wide Southwestern water views from all bedrooms and communal spaces. The house is situated in a walkable residential neighborhood on a cul-de-sac, with grocery, shopping, restaurants close by. Along the seawalled lakefront is a wraparound Captain’s walk with 2 concrete docks (South& West) with marine rope, solar piling lights, life rings, and 2 wood decks.
Shamrock Lakes is part of a chain of freshwater lakes and canal systems including Alhambra Lake, Lake Kennedy, Saratoga Lake, Killerney Lake, and Weatherly Lake stretching over 30 miles. It is popular for jet skis and pontoons as the allowable speed is higher than on canals. It is also popular for fishing. Access to the water system is available through a boat ramp. A double jet-ski stand is available on the property on the south side. The driveway on the property has an additional concrete slab to park water equipment.
Excursions to downtown Fort Myers with Art Walk, Music Walk, dining, theater, gelato, farmer’s market, The River District furthermore houses the Edison Estate about 15 minutes by car. The white sandy beaches of Sanibel, Captiva, Fort Myers Beach, and Bonita Beach are less than an hour away where you can swim in the warm Gulf of Mexico waters.
