Odom Springs Vineyards Lodge is a mountain cabin, located beside our winery in the North Georgia Mountains.
The lodge, a log cabin originally built in 1975 features a full size kitchen, dinning room, living room, bedroom, bathroom and laundry on main floor. The second floor features a master bedroom with its on deck, bathroom, sitting room and two more bedrooms. Both of these floors underwent a complete renovation during 2016. The basement is perfect for the children and includes a large family room with TV, bedroom, bathroom and kitchenette. We also provide you with internet and Direct TV. The lodge will accommodate up to 8 guests comfortably.
Large house lots of room for all of us. 3 floors, overlooking vineyard. Very friendly owner. Was very helpful in making our stay great. Just wish there had been a main floor living room.
For our family Thanksgiving the lodge provided spacious accommodations in a nice location. However, we were overall disappointed with the lack of amenities. Lodge needs updating and greater attention to details. Examples include shortage of flatware and coffee mugs, very worn and mismatched kitchen equipment. Upon arrival we had to purchase additional toilet paper and paper towels. Towels and bed linens were clean, but worn. No comfortable seating on main floor. Overall impression is the lodge has great owners and tremendous potential. However, if on the STR market, furnishings and amenities need to be improved.
My sorority sisters and I decided to enjoy a weekend in the mountains. We all needed a much deserved break! This cabin stood out to me because it was located on a vineyard. The property is gorgeous!!! The landscaping is simply beautiful!! We didn't go out other than to the grocery store - so I can't say much about the town. But the owners of the property were awesome!!! Great communication, beautiful property, and just great people all around. We had a good time talking Georgia Football with them and really enjoyed our stay, which included a tour of the vineyard. The tour guide was also awesome. Just good, salt of the earth people. The only caution I would provide is that the kitchen has older appliances, so be prepared for that. Also, only plan to use the upstairs refrigerator because the downstairs is broken. Finally, the WiFi was a little spotty. That said, we ate well, drank wine, and had a great time. Thanks!
We loved our stay and highly recommend it!
Wish the main floor had a seating area. The basement apartment needed a fridge not freezer and would of loved a microwave.. Could use some updating, but the place was in a wonderful location, and the owners were very nice. The bed were a little hard, but enjoyed my stay.
The best part is the house is literally next door to the winery! Their wine is delicious! Winery is family ran and will mostly like have the pleasure of meeting some of them while on your visit. Our host Jennifer was super nice and was always readily available to contact. The house is beautiful! You really get so much history about the Odom family. House is very spacious, clean, and comfortable. Absolutely will be coming back with friends and family! Thank you for your hospitality! We really enjoyed our weekend!
We stayed here from the day after Christmas to the day after New Year, with seven adults, a three year old, a five year old and a seven month old infant. There was plenty of room for everyone, and the house couldn't have been more comfortable. Great location, wonderful wines, friendly owners that you'll just love to talk to. Will return, highly recommended!
We had 10 in our group, and the lodge had plenty of room. the hosts were awesome! The dining room table was perfect for 2 fun 60th birthday dinners! The host talked about moving the couches downstairs, but we loved the huge one that was there. I would recommend moving the hide-away bed to the Elvis room, where 2 could sleep up there..but leave the other one downstairs because we liked sitting there waiting on the gang to go to our activities. (just from the peanut gallery) We loved playing the big checkerboard. Next door was so fun, getting cheese boards wine, and snacks. Best VACA ever! Thanks Odom Family!
This place was amazing! The Vineyard was breathtaking and the Wine was delicious. Their family home was spacious and comfortable. My friends and I can’t wait to stay here again. Did I mention their hospitality...✅
