Hello I have been renting high end homes for 10 years and now do not trust this app....the house was simply horrible. Outdated, falling apart, sharp baseboard covers not secure and dangerous. My son cut his foot open on exposed nail on the stairs. I do not like to complain but this house is NOT as advertised nor worth more than 300 a day. I use your app for trust and that is gone. I run a business and would never take advantage of others as I have been! Now I know why it was still available and I cannot be the first to complain....even free this home is not worth it. What a joke. Hopefully someone stops ripping off customers here. My best...David

Awesome property! Plenty of space both to sleep and to gather. Cool lodge type vibe balanced with modern accents. Will definitely come again!

Not the experience I had hoped for, and I really should have cancelled at the first chance. Owner changed booking terms based on “a vrbo glitch” and charged me 200 more than the advertised rate for his mistake. WiFi instructions are unclear (the network password listed in the VRBO listing is inaccurate), owner refused to provide help changing network name/SSID because he “didn’t have the Comcast app” - this felt like either like the owner doesn’t care about the guest experience, or is just technologically inept.. but then how was he able to set up/lock Nest thermostat functionality?Hot tub is missing all of the jet adjustment knobs. Owner said he would have his guy come over, offered nothing but excuses for me. The house furnishings are pretty busted - drawers are practically falling out of their tracks, and the knife drawer fell out more than once - leaving the unsuspecting tap dancing so as to not get stabbed by knifes falling to the floor. Windows in the bathrooms are in poor condition, and there’s no ventilation fans. It looked like there was mold growing in the downstairs bathroom, and I’m left wondering if the respiratory distress I’m feeling after checkout was a consequence of inhaling something I wish I hadn’t. The check out instructions call out cleaning up after the party leaves, else we’d be charged a cleaning fee. I pulled into a driveway filled with litter, and spent a great deal of my time tidying up another renters mess that the cleaner didn’t.

The house and surroundings are beautiful; we especially enjoyed the main room with the cathedral ceilings and fireplace and the view of the backyard with a stream running below the deck. It was very comfortable and cozy for our extended family (9 of us). Could have easily been a larger group (didn't use all the beds). The drive to Killington from the house is easy (10-15 minutes - can stop at the market on the way home or at Liquid Art for coffee in the morning). Would definitely come back (with towels this time). To note: I had no cell service but the wifi worked very well. The host was attentive and saw we had not noticed the 3 thermostats and helped heating up the house for us. He was also very receptive on ways to improve the experience for future guests. Overall a great stay; we'd be happy to come back.

The property was awesome, extremely clean and inviting. We went for a wedding and had all my kids and nieces and nephews( all adults ages 23-28) we hung on the deck and listened to the creek run down the side of the house, it was peaceful. The hot tub was awesome as we all used it.

This house was beautiful and spaceous. The location was stunning. It was comfortably large. The floor to ceiling windows in the living room made the backyard view of the stream and woods a highlight of the stay

The location, and size inside the property was perfect for our very large family. My older kids also very much enjoyed the hot tube, and fishing in the back. It was very hard to get to the fire pit because everything was so over grown, but nice that wood was there to use. Inside looked like it hadn’t had a cleaning in a while. There was cobwebs, and dust everywhere even down to the fans in the closet. A lot of the windows didn’t work, or have screens. There also wasn’t shades or curtains in the bathrooms. Unfortunately on the first night we found a dead mouse in one of the rooms. There was also rat poison in 2 cabinets that we saw. The cabinets didn’t have any kinds of locks on them. We had an age range of kids from 2-16 years old, and tied the cabinets with a cloth so the little kids didn’t open it. By the last night we found another dead mouse, and one running around on the morning of check out.

The house itself was nice, although it was a little shocking how dirty it was!! It just felt gross. Also the trash bins outside were overflowing so much when we arrived that we couldn’t close the bins and during our stay an animal got in and tore up the bags. The property had a great view and was very close to the mountain which was convenient. My major problem was how uncomfortable the beds and couches were (think IKEA but worse). It is clear this is a rental property left forgotten and lacking TLC. It was an ok stay- definitely not worth the “luxury” price it’s advertised at.

The house was adequate for our needs. It comfortably fit large group of friends who love skiing as well as hanging out at the house. Our favorite part was open concept of living room dining room and kitchen. We loved the fireplace and the Jacuzzi, we were a little disappointed that the foosball table was not there as it is pictured in the photos. It could be better with few updates and I think it has even more potential in the summer since backyard looks really cool with the big deck and the stream that was hard to explore in the winter. Pros: large common area, open concept, close to the mountain (10 minutes drive to skyship Lodge), nice Jacuzzi, Cons: kitchen needs some TLC ( stove is old and hard to cook on it, many drawers are loose, no oven mitts), you need to bring your own towels, lots of steps leading down to the house it would have been nice if they were cleaned up better for the guests, the cleaners can do better job cleaning the place, Overall it was nice and enjoyable and definitely more reasonably priced than other houses in the area. Plus dealing with the owner was a pleasure.
