The Mid-Century Retreat

This home was so perfect for our family to celebrate Christmas together! I was utterly amazed at the effort Kimberly went through to decorate for Christmas! It was magical and so beautiful. She has exquisite taste in decorating! This home was stocked with everything we needed, plus! So much attention to detail!! She even got us Christmas gifts and they were waiting for us under the tree! We never would have expected that! So kind and thoughtful. The fire pit in the back yard was a wonderful place to gather. I would higly recommend this home and host if you are in the Lansing area. 10/10!!

Kim and Eric were wonderful hosts. They thought of the smallest details that made our stay a happy one. We had 2 small boys with us and the house was kid friendly. We would love to stay in the future!

The space was clean and beautiful. Kim thought of so many things to make things convenient for the family. I will definitely stay here again.

We came to Lansing to visit family and unfortunately attend a funeral. This rental made our stay so comfortable and easy. The host was nothing short of spectacular - very communicative, thoughtful, and generous. They thought of everything, stuffed animals for our kids, firewood and s’mores stuff for the fire pit, and plenty of bathroom effects for the traveler who may have forgotten to pack all their toiletries. I would absolutely stay again the next time we’re in Lansing!

We were celebrating Christmas Eve and Christmas Day here with in town and out of town family. Upon entering the home I was truly impressed with all of the Christmas decorations including the Christmas tree that also had gifts for us from the host! It truly felt like a getaway. I did all of the he cooking and loved, loved the size of the kitchen and it had everything I needed. The home was cozy, updated and the host went above and beyond with capturing Christmas. Very attentive. I would definitely stay again!

The host were responsive and accommodating. They thought of all the small things to make the stay comfortable. There were lots of things of that were explicity left for guest to use. The home upgrades were very nice. We enjoyed the smore basket left by the hosts. We finally got to enjoy the last night of our stay because of the weather. Lots of wet days. I will definitely be looking to stay again if I visit again.

We were a group of MSU alumni ladies getting together for our yearly reunion. They house was very clean and the layout was perfect for our group. There were also so many thoughtful touches and the kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed. Although we didn’t use the adorable outdoor space, that also would have been perfect for our group

Fantastic place to stay for a quick weekend to visit our MSU student! Clean, cute, well equipped 3 bedroom house! Owners easy to communicate with. Highly recommend!

This home is great!!! We rented it to visit our daughter who goes to MSU and it was perfect!!! It’s 12 minutes from campus in a nice neighborhood. The hosts were extra wonderful to work with. The attention to detail in this newly renovated home was fabulous!!! It has everything you need. We will definitely be back. Thank you for a wonderful stay!!!

This was one of the best rentals we've ever stayed at. The owners have thought of absolutely everything. Their home is wonderfully decorated (looks just like the photos), charming and so very, very cozy and comfortable. Everything you could possibly need or want has been considered. The hosts were so responsive and kind, leaving snacks (that we over-indulged in!), a gift certificate for dinner and even a little gift for our family. I couldn't recommend this cottage more -- just a truly wonderful place to stay!! Highly recommend!
