Walla Walla, Washington
The Lasater Ranch House is your home away from home. The Lasater family was one of the first to settle in Walla Walla and this home was built in 1918. Many updates have been made to the home since, but it still has it's vintage farmhouse charm. Sit on the screened porch, listening to the creek and crickets while sipping your favorite beverage watching the beautiful Walla Walla sunset. Relax and let life slow down a little while you are here!

This was a great house for Christmas. The spacious downstairs was ver accommodating for a Christmas dinner and family gathering. The Christmas tree and various decorations made it feel more festive. The property is beautiful and serene.
Great location close to southern wineries. Older antique farm house with more modern kitchen. Very nice bedding. Enclosed porch. Very strange upstairs carpet and wall paper and dated bathrooms but was expected as this is an old family farm house. Good value, lots of room. We did wineries during day and had meals and game nights in evening. Super quiet and peaceful. Would be great for families, couples or girls weekends
We had a large family reunion with many people coming from out of town, and the Lasater house was absolutely perfect to house so many of them. It had lots of character and charm, lots of nooks and crannies for the kids to separate up or play together. They loved being able to feed the horse and ducks, and all were enamored of the amazing old trees on the property. The screened in or walled in porches were also amazing, as were the views from some of the rooms. I really hope they keep this available as VRBO, as I imagine we would use it again!
We spent 4 days visiting our daughter at Whitman. The house is a classic, historical farm house with plenty of room, including for our dog. The location is a short walk to the Southside wineries and a 5-10 minute drive to just about everything in Walla Walla. Nice and quiet at night. Overall, a lovely stay.
This was a beautiful property and we enjoyed our stay there. We didn't spend much time on the property due to our schedule, it would be a great place to come just to relax.
2 night stay with friends while enjoying the area on motorcycles, wine tasting and just relaxing at a beautiful old family home. The property was so interesting and rich with history. Very enjoyable stay
We returned for a second stay and again felt right at home in this country farm house. Old fashioned decor and antiques add to the charm of the house. Love the quirky wallpapers! Plenty of shade trees. Plenty of room for our extended family to spread out. Lovely screened in porch and outdoor seating area. Beautiful sunsets. Quiet country setting yet a quick drive into town.
Beautiful property and perfect location for family to gather and celebrate the graduates!
Beautiful and well maintained home, meticulous grounds full of blooming iris, peonies and stately sycamores. Charming duck pond. House stayed cool even with very hot days. We loved the space and the wonderful screened porch. Our family played cards in the dining room - 8 around the table and such great memories!
Both of our moms were so thrilled with this beautiful farmhouse and itโs setting. They could both sit out on the porch for hours watching the ducks and geese enjoying the pond. The house is spacious and accommodating for a large group.
This place was huge. We had 7 people staying there for 5 days and we could have brought 5 more comfortably. There are several different comfy hang out spaces perfect for teens and children to do their own thing. 3 tvs in the home so you dont have to try to waych the same things with a big crowd. The pics dont show the huge dining room straight off the kitchen. And there are friendly ducks that come get food from you. Overall an amazing house and the wallpaper upstairs could occupy you for hours. The only complaint I really would have is thay you cant use real wood in the fireplace only firelogs.
We stayed with friends for a few days and had a nice stay. The property is a short drive to town and close to several wineries and tasting rooms. The home is certainly older and unorthodox in its layout, the kitchen lacked some basic cooking supplies like cookware in good condition and not many pantry staples like olive oil or seasoning but overall we had a nice stay and would recommend it for groups..
We really enjoyed this property. We were only there two nights and worried about the bathroom situation, but everything worked out great. Lots of room, very comfortable.
Not only was Amy, the property manager, and the landscaper (Joshua I believe) wildly helpful and flexible, the house itself brought a charming and old style feel to our large family gathering/wedding ceremony. The lack of centralized AC is hard to handle in the Walla-Walla heat, but what you loose with AC, you gain in beautiful sights and whimsy from the property itself. The wallpaper upstairs is definitely unique and thereโs lots of small items and touches that shows the houses age and long life. For sure would recommend to others in the future!
This was such an easy rental and Amy was very responsive to all communications. The property is set amongst trees and surrounded by fields. It was so quiet and peaceful and gave our family a chance to just sit and catch up and unwind. There are many wineries within walking distance if you want to sample local wines. We canโt wait to go back!
We really enjoyed our stay. It's such a unique house. There's a lot of space and it is completely different than any other house you'll stay at.
Perfect location. In the beautiful country with breath taking views, yet close to town (what isnโt ?). Sooo comfortable and clean with thoughtful details. Quiet, picturesque, huge home.
This large historic house was perfect for our large family group vacation. Lots of room for everyone to find privacy or hangout together. The porch was perfect looking out over the wheat fields, and the park-like grounds were great for barbeques, reading books, or a slackline competition! Close to town, but not in an area of high traffic makes this location perfect for launching bike sorties or visiting the nearby wineries.
We had a wonderful experience at this immaculate country mansion. All members of our party commented how awesome the property was. Highly recommend.
We loved our stay at the Lasater Ranch, The home and grounds are spacious. Plenty of room to spread out.
We loved our stay at the Lasater ranch. The location was wonderful and it was easy to get to all of the wineries we visited in Walla Walla. The property was lovely and we enjoyed the peaceful quiet of staying in the country. The house was rich in history. It was nice to have a downstairs bedroom for our mother who would have had difficulty climbing the stairs. The dining room accommodated our group of 8 easily. The only negative would be that it would have been nice to have had a few more essentials in the kitchen ie. saran wrap and aluminum foil. We would return in a heartbeat!
