The home appears in disrepair upon pulling in to the driveway. The stones on the entrance steps are crumbling & have missing pieces, there’s cobwebs all over the front entrance, outback patio & throughout home. The home stinks of mildew, musty basement & there’s even mold in basement. Holes are present in some of the bedroom walls. Some rooms don’t have air conditioning. There’s exposed wires from light fixtures & outlets. WiFi doesn’t reach to family room, needed to use personal hotspot to play video games or watch tv. The shower floor, I didn’t want to touch with my bare feet. All the porous furniture inside the home was stained, worn out. We weren’t able to use the patio furniture, it was all ripped & covered in animal fur. It was in a nice location with easy access to Cleveland activities.
Cute place. Would definitely rent again
Very roomy and clean and great for a big group, but could use some tweaks. Kitchen cabinet hinge broken, Only 3 coffee mugs (Not near enough for a big group), Beds not real comfortable, Unless you like really firm mattresses & could use a few more fans, some of the rooms got pretty warm. But that being said, it was a great family weekend & had plenty of room and would stay there again. We had 8 adults and 4 toddlers.
We chose this property for a meetup of two family groups, each with two adults and kids. It was great having five bedrooms and two living rooms, but a property that's advertised as sleeping 10 should have more than three coffee cups and glasses. It didn't feel the cleanest, especially the kitchen cabinets. There were crumbs on a couch and a glass from a previous guest sitting on the floor. The outlet electrical boxes on the floor in the kitchen didn't feel safe. The stairs to the upper level are SUPER steep and I wouldn't advise them for young kids or older adults. The street was mostly quiet, but there is a 24-hour community center nearby and we heard loud drunk people in the street both nights of our stay.
Property was clean and spacious.
The photos make this property look beautiful. In real life, the house is pretty old and has foundation issues (there is slant to the flooring). The steps to the 2nd level are extremely steep and not kid or older person friendly. The TVs available were not plugged in and required signing into you own app to use. Overall the place was clean but it left a lot to be desired. If you’re looking to fit a lot of people in for cheap with low expectations this is the place for you. If quiet space and luxury is what you are looking for, don’t settle here. It would have been helpful to have a manual with local dining spots/attractions and house related tips, ie how to turn on gas heater for back room, how to navigate TV, expectations for cleaning.
Everything I expected. Any time I had a question or needed anything they responded so quick. They were also very generous. The neighbors were very friendly. There was plenty of room to spread out and have a good time. If I had a complaint, the only thing I could have used was a broom and mop. But loved everything!!!
Loved it super quiet and such a lovely home
