Beautiful view of lake through the forest. Birds songs off the back deck and deer on the grounds.
Loved the location and the extra touches in the house. Older home with updated appliances.
Rental had everything we needed, and more! There were nice quirky surprises around every corner. We enjoyed watching the variety of birds from the back porch. Quick location to Lake Monroe and downtown Bloomington. Would love to come again some day. Thank you - Chris & Emily
We had 4 adults staying at this location for a weekend away from being adults. The beds were very comfortable and the location had a relaxed readers atmosphere. The kitchen was well stocked with spices and utensils so we never had to go out for food as long as we brought the main ingredients to cook. The shower and stand in tub added to the experience. Sadly the outside griddle was rusted so we were unable to utilize it and while the beds were comfortable there isnt much seating. What is there fits the theme of the location but isnt very comfortable to sit in. I would say for a good-nights sleep a good place to fix grub and wash up this spot is great! More comfortable seating would be more optimal if you want to read all the fine literature in the main cabin. If your using this as a base camp to hike and enjoy nature then you wont find a cozier spot to eat clean up and catch some Z's.
