Bloomington, Indiana
This fully furnished 6 bd/2 ba located in a Peaceful neighborhood within walking distance of several restaurants and stores. A screened in porch to sit and relax with family and friends. Abundant access.
Had a great time for the second time at Hoosier Daddy with fellow IU parents/alum/friends! Always a great time making homecoming memories at Hoosier Daddy. See you next year! -- The Bramblewood Gang
We had a great time and plenty of room for our group of 12 friends that got together for a 40th birthday party!
We loved the Hoosier Daddy house for our girls weekend! It was quiet and felt like our own little place while being close to the happenings of Bloomington. The parking situation was also great for a large group of people mostly driving separately. Will hopefully be back to the area and would definitely stay here again!
Plenty of space and great hospitality. Would recommend for any family or friends trip. Host was very accommodating and responsive.
We stayed at Hoosier Daddy for graduation and the house and location were perfect for our crew. The house was clean, well-stocked and the beds were very comfortable. Plenty of room for guests to spread out and not be on top of each other. The IU themed downstairs is very cool and great for game watching and enjoying time with friends and family. We loved our time at the house and would stay there again without question. Thanks for the memories Hoosier Daddy!
Hoosier Daddy is the best! The layout of the house is great for a large group. Avery was so helpful prior to our stay and check in/out was smooth and easy. Best place we’ve ever stayed in BTown.
My family and friends stayed for the Oaken Bucket Game weekend. The location was close enough to town and the stadium to easily use Lyft and Uber. Very convenient for all involved. The house was well equipped and clean. The provided coffee was fantastic!
I know that the Hoosier Daddy House has recently gone under new management. I had difficulty with communication getting the Code days and, up to hours before our arrival. I finally received a phone call Friday afternoon, one hour before we were supposed to get in to the house. I had left many messages with Avery Goldman using the website contact information. Jeni called me and was very apologetic for the communication issues. We got the code and were thrilled to check in for our yearly reunion and third visit to Hoosier Daddy House. The house looked pretty clean. Soon after arriving I dropped a small bottle under the bed in the King size bedroom. The dust bunnies and a dirty sock from who knows when & where was disgusting. We woke up to a beautiful surprising snowfall on Sat. morning. After our morning obligations we were cold and settled in with plans to build a fire and watch the the football game. After many attempts we could not succeed with the Wifi password information. The information provided did not help. We finally connected with Jeni by text and after many phone calls. Jeni was very patient trying to help us navigate the information. Two of my teammates were very familiar with the tv technology and still could not get it to work. Jeni was very patient even Face Timing trying to get it to work. After many attempts we all realized we would not have any TV. Jeni was very apologetic. There was a Comcast box and Direct TV box. The basement TV would not work. Jeni said the Direct TV was no longer available as the website advertised. The website needs to be updated. In past years all bathrooms were stocked with a few shampoos, conditioners and face wash. Not this time. The pantry had very few supplies when in the past we had plenty of paper towels, paper plates and what we expected from other visits. The price was significantly higher for our two night stay than in the past. With the TV failure we were disappointed. We stocked the fire place with clean wood & had major problems with smoke and ash.. Flue was open but it was very dirty. Alarms went off twice. We appreciated Jen's efforts and requested a discount. . We the Hoosier Daddy House the convenience of the location to the sports facilities, restaurants and stores. Most importantly, out time together was the wonderful but for the price our expectations were higher for the quality of services provided from the past. We would love to return but would need to see some changes.
We really enjoyed our stay at this house. It exceeded our expectations. Walking in we all felt at home immediately. The open kitchen living room made it a great place for our large group to gather. It will be really nice when they make improvements to the building across the street. Backyard was large but the weather wasn’t great for us to use. It was great!
The perfect house. Super clean and decorated so cute. Owners super communicative. We had such a great time and will definitely be back. Hoosier Daddy for the win!
We stayed at this property during IU Family weekend and shared it with 4 other parents (2 singles and one couple) who had kids at IU.. It was the perfect layout that gave us each a private room but still had space to gather, chat and relax. The college kids came over in the evening and hung out in the basement and played games. It was so much nicer than a hotel for that reason and the college students really enjoyed a gathering place! Plenty of space for everyone. Walking distance to the south end of campus but pretty long to the NW dorms and stadiums. We drove to the football stadium, but the students living in SE walked. A couple notes about the house - one toilet and one shower per floor. During our stay, the upstairs had one king bed, one double bed and a room with two twins. Lower level rooms/beds were as advertised. Neighbor houses look unkept but this rental is wonderful and the beauty is hidden past the curb! Highly recommend it and will stay here again over the next four years as we visit our son. Thank you for creating great memories!
