The Historic Brownstone Haus, A Downtown location for Unforgettable Gatherings

This property was a highlight of our weekend for everyone. The location is ideal for a stay in Frankenmuth. The house is the perfect mix of gorgeous original features and modern conveniences. It is beautifully decorated. We appreciated the kitchen being stocked with everything necessary for preparing and serving meals. Everything was clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully done. Thank you!

We had so much fun at the house. The location is perfect. There is a lot of space for a big group. The host has thought of everything. All of the little touches make it feel like home. The beds are very comfortable and we all loved having fans in every room! The outdoor area was beautiful, even in the chilly weather. The guys loved playing pool, and the ladies really appreciated all of the available mirrors to get ready for 80s fest. We will definitely be staying here again! Highly recommend this beautiful charming home.

Close to downtown. Cute, clean, friendly, and a beautiful historial home with beautiful upgrades. Owner was kind and helpful. Had everything we needed and checkout was a breeze.

The home is everything you see in the listing and more. It’s clear the host has gone to great lengths to ensure guests have everything they need and are comfortable for their stay. We had a large group and all felt like we had plenty of room to enjoy each other, cook, and eat while still having our own space to relax.

Very clean, great location, had everything we could possibly need, lots of space, decorated beautifully, owner was incredibly thoughtful, very warm and cozy, gas grill had two full tanks. IT WAS PERFECT!!

This rental is outstanding! From the clear communication from the host, to the way the space was decorated, and the house had everything you could ever think of needing! We rented Brownstone for the weekend of our wedding and staying here truly made the weekend even better!

We stayed here for our wedding weekend in town. The location is excellent and Sharon was our best host to date. You can tell she takes great care in her property and thinks of everything. She is very responsive and accommodated all of our requests. It was a great place to stay with family and friends.

The entire home was clean and comfortable. There was a beautiful note and wine/snacks to welcome us. The kitchen had everything we needed. The house and yard were decorated with such wonderful taste that pre-wedding pictures were taken at the residence. Not to mention that is was within a comfortable walking distance to every place in downtown Frankenmuth. Would highly recommended!!

As we were there for Summerfest we really didn’t use most of the kitchen. However it was sufficiently stocked with modern appliances and all the bells and whistles. The rest of the house really nice and clean with no complaints whatsoever. Would recommend this location and should the occasion come up to book it again would do so without hesitation.

We were with other family helping clean out my parentsʻ house. The Historic Brownstone Haus was a greta retreat at the end of some very dusty days. Well equipped and comfortable, inside and out.

This is our fifth time at the Brownstone Haus. Lovely, spacious, comfortable home in easy walking distance of all the sights. Kind, communicative hosts. We love it here.

Our trip was perfect. We were a group of 6, and the sleeping and accommodations were perfect for us (two couples and two singles). Everything was as described in the VRBO listing.Some in our group golfed Sunday and Monday, and the location was unbelievable, we just gathered our clubs and walked across the street to the Fortress. We grilled steaks our first night, and ate in town our other two nights. The house was well appointed for all of our cooking and other needs. The pool table was a nice touch.We were also lucky to have the balloon festival and dog competitions happening, which gave the non golfers much to do during the day, and the entire group enjoyed the balloons each afternoon. The house was a short 5 minute walk to the festivities and the main drag of Frankenmuth (River Place shops, etc.).We were thrilled with the location for the fireworks, which we enjoyed from the front porch.Our host (Sharon) was great - she sent check in/out instructions, and texted with me a bit as I had a couple of questions for her about the property. She responded quickly and helped with our inquiries. We would definitely return for another visit to Frankenmuth. I can’t imagine staying elsewhere.

The stay was absolutely wonderful. We loved the warm and tastefully decorated historic home and had a great time. The home was clean and had everything we needed to make this bachlorette weekend special.

This house was adorable, continently located, spacious, and had so many great amenities!

My husband and I, our two children and their spouses, and our four grandchildren (12, 11, 8, 3) fit very comfortably into this charming historic home. We were there for 2 nights over spring break. We especially enjoyed the huge dining room table that provided plenty of room for the family to play games and do activities. Also, it is very convenient - very walkable - to downtown and the Waterpark we took the children to, and to Bronners Christmas World. The owners were very responsive and they were the first to notify I that we left some items - and then to send them to us!! We will definitely stay there again on a future visit to Frankenmuth.

My husband and I have many family and friends who stood in our wedding party that live 6 hours away. We wanted to spend our wedding weekend soaking up as much time as possible with these important people. The Brownstone Haus made that possible. The Haus was filled with love, laughter, and many memories were made. The Brownstone accommodated all of us and could not have been a more perfect space for all of us to to enjoy each other's company. It served as a fantastic getting ready space for the morning of the wedding with the bride tribe. The groomsmen came to the house later and captured some amazing photos with the pool table and in the Carriage House. I highly recommend booking this house for any reason. It's a beautiful space that can easily meet the needs of both small and large groups of people any time of year.

House was great. Comfortable while maintaining the ambiance of a 100 year old home. Updated kitchen was fully equipped. Basement Lots of space which accommodated gathering together or finding a quiet spot.

The house is lovely, and has every amenity!.. it is also right in the center of all the activities in town. We have come back to this house for several years, and will continue to do so .. Sharon is a very thorough manager, and very easy to work with. I highly recommend this house!

We had a fantastic weekend at the Brownstone Haus, enjoying all the Christmas festivities in Frankenmuth. Amazing house with room for 10 plus!! The house was decorated beautifully for Christmas!

Not gonna get all flowery here, suffice to say that this is the fifth time we've rented this property, probably our favorite of all the VRBOs we rent - several per year. There's just nothing missing in this rental!!

Gorgeous, clean property with every comfort we could have needed. The location is great too! Just a short walk to River Place and The Fortress is across the street. We would definitely stay here again.
